Now here's a thing about non-digital watches, there are so many people who cannot tell time on Analog watches or clocks. No matter how expensive a watch may be, it will all be for showing off.
@@thejimerino First of all, I am a woman. I do not have love dolls. Watch the video of two 17 year olds who cannot dial a telephone number on an Analog Rotary Phone.
While the watches are interesting, your lack of knowledge about horology is forgivable but really could have been avoided with a little research. Hublot, pronounced Hew Blow Tourbillon, pronounced Tor Be Yon
7:28 The "melody" is from Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons" (Spring). It says so in Italian on the back of the watch! Does that mean they will make watches with other music as well? 8:30 "Capitaine Flam" is the French name of the anime which in Japanese is "Captain Future".
growlingbehemoth the purpose of luxury watches is not only to tell the time accurately; a consumer looking for the most accurate time keeper would stick to quartz watches or not buy a watch and just use their phone. These types of watches are luxuries for collectors, people passionate about horology, and art enthusiasts not looking to simply to tell the time but to hold pieces of art that can pass from generation to generation. By your logic you could argue luxury cars are useless as well (you could use public transport instead or buy a cost effective car), as with most high end products. Best of luck
I know, right? I think this might be the same watchmojouk guy who doesn't care what script he is given to read, does zero research and bastardizes his pronunciation. I stopped watching immediately after I heard him say hub lot as I then knew this video was seriously ill-informed.
Nah i mean... If I have a Paycheck of say 99999 dollars a month.... I would still save up for a 300000 Watch..! It depends about how much you are into Watch's to start with.
but again.... it's just about if you are into Watch's or not..My paycheck is about 30 grand..! however I have watch collection worth close to 100k if I genuinely love a watch..! My bank will help me out with the EMI, at the end of the day... all that matters is if you are into Watch's or not..!
T5 Delta Bangalore but still, I'm into swords very much and I wouldn't spend a ridiculous amount of money on a sword. My point is what makes that 30k watch better than the 10k watch. There is a point where more money doesn't mean better or if it is better it is very negligible.
Most of those are collector pieces (limited to 18 piece made or so). As such they go up in value. It's like owning gold or something else. Doesn't depreciate so it justifies the upfront purchase price. Most of us can't buy these though.
300,000 on a watch... 😳 I could buy a car off the lot, a decent tiny home, put money away in savings, donate a decent amount, and still have funds to live on. 😳welcome to America where you spend someone’s salary for 3-4 years on a single item 😂 I hate it here
So someone spends $50,000 on a watch; you ask, "what time is it?" and now both you and the owner of the watch spend the next 20 minutes trying to figure it out!!!
ahhh yes all watches even if i had the financial means id never buy😂 I like seeing the steel pieces that cost the manufacturers like 20$ to make though as they charge 500,000$ cuz theres 200 plus pieces in there

Some of these watches maybe beautiful works of technical art, but for me, my 10 euro watch that is 7 year old works just fine and it still tells the time accurately to this day. I also remember many years ago being in one of these snobby jewelers selling something like these beautiful watches, there was not one watch under the thousand euros plus I was made to feel like a fart in a spacesuit other words you can't afford it get lost, not that it bothers me a 30 euro watch to me is expensive.
If you don't care why even watch the video :/ by the way the only reason people like them is the unique construct and complex mechanism inside its art to most people and fascinating unless you can build a rocket ship out of nothing but a million gears then i suggest that no one cares about its use, they are much like a painting at best, they are there for its beauty and art.
Paying $200k to play poker on your watch lol. That happens when you are making more money than you know to do with.
The way you pronounced Hublot made my European neck hair stand up, of which there are a lot, because I'm European.
