The inner monologue that just won't shut up is SO relatable! It's one of my main reasons for journalling as well, to somewhat quiet that constant cacophony. Loved the story about the whale. Little buddy never knew how much of an influencer he was. Thank you for sitting down to share bits and pieces of your life and for the journalling inspiration. Also, the carbonara tangent made me hungry.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one with a personal cacophony - aren't brains interesting... For real though, RIP Thames Whale, you had no idea what you were sparking 😅 RE: carbonara - can you tell I recorded this when hungry lol
Omg I spent one of my bdays walking around Pompeii too!! Literally the best 😂 I love your videos so much, they make me feel so much less alone in similar struggles and similar interests 🙂 thank you for sharing ❤
So funny to hear the who are all you people watching these videos bit since your content is so darn relatable I mean autism? check. taylor swift? check. journaling? check. history? check. bookish? check. journaling channel of my dreams!!
Thank you for answering my question! I love The National & saw them a few weeks ago. Matt Berninger walked thru the crowd during Terrible Love!! 🤩 Check out Sharon Van Etten for more sad indie if you haven’t already.
Any time - thank you for asking it 😄 oh aren't they just brilliant live?! I saw them a few months ago and yeah, Matt disappeared into the crowd a few times... How that man has so much energy is beyond me 😂 thank you for the recommendation!
I've come here 4 times to make a comment and been side tracked but I wanted to say a couple of things. 1. Hi, loved your video as always and here to wish you well. 2. Love the Q&As, maybe next time I'll remember to submit a question. 3. If there are any females who are considering they may be autistic, then Samantha Crafts unofficial autism list is a fantastic resource. When it was suggested to me, my words were "I am not having that", I too had misconceptions based on the male ideology of autism. Anyway, I hope you're having a fab weekend and that you have an even better week xx
Thank you for this lovely comment, and for your wonderful comments in general! So glad you enjoyed the video 🥰 A lot of us have those misconceptions, I think - if only autism in women was more widely spoken about! It's why I harp on about it as often as I do 😅 hope you had a wonderful weekend too!
I too colect JA adaptations. I love them. 4 Emmas, 2 S&S, 2 Persuasions, 3 P&P 1 Northanger Abbey, 1 Mansfield Park and some other stuff. I’m a huge JA fan.
That was pretty close, Im impressed! maisquecansada translates to morethantired if that helps 😂 Loved the whale story (one of my fav animals!). I think i started journaling when I was around 8? Always loved writing, was always starting new journals and not finishing them (ops...)
Oh phew! I'm glad I wasn't way off base 😅 love the translation 😂 thank you for the kind words as ever!!! and to validate - I also started many journals left unfinished lol. I don't think I actually finished a notebook until I was maybe 15?!
It's usually things that I really, really want my future self to remember - pieces of wisdom and the like! Current me trying to help out future me who looks back through the pages 😅
The inner monologue that “won’t shut up” I 100% relate!
Your autism story is interesting - so many girls get missed!
If only our inner monologues had a mute button 😅 and right?! It's actually crazy how many of us only find out later in life!

You’re in luck because I’m posting another one today 😅 thank you so much for the kind words 🥰
my favorite advice for being intimidated by the 1st page of a journal: start on the 2nd page :)
ooooh that's such a good tip! and I actually did that for my most recent journal 😅
Love of writing here too. I think I saw Harriet the Spy and that helped inspire me to want to be writing everything lol 😂
So many people mention Harriet the Spy as an inspiration!!! I need to watch it clearly 😅

You just can't beat them! Which is your favourite book? I'm always torn between S&S and Persuasion!
@@ellesbooks Emma! But I love the others so much too.
@@knittingbooksetc.2810 They're all just so good!

I have noticed notes to yourself in your videos. What categories of things are you typically writing to yourself. I really like that idea.

I like the idea to deliberately make a mistake on the first page!
Ahhh yay, I'm so glad! It's a bit extreme, but it definitely kills the perfectionism 😆
Lovely
Thank you! 🥰
