Straight laces are amazing! Found them on this channel actually, several videos ago & had to grab em. Setup was actually easier than I thought it would be. Literally everything you guys recommend is straight up awesomesauce.
0:50 I'm sorry. Maybe I'm a little slow, but you totally lost me on _outside_ _in_ vs _inside_ _out_ in this part. Are you talking about lacing, or tying here? Also, do you mean _outside_ _in_ laterally? As in left side of left shoe, right side of right shoe? Or do you mean actually down inside the shoe?
I literally bought so many straight laces accidentally just now I need more sneakers for it to make sense :D go well with me new Koio shoes I bought yesterday, thank you so much for the help
Another advantage of this that you didn't mention, sometimes the laces are overly long and they can drag on the ground. If you're a guy you're certain to go pee at the urinal at some point during the day, and if your fluffy white shoelaces are dragging on the ground when you do, you're in for a nasty surprise.

Oh my goodness! And I thought Ukraine had problems.
I'm sorry but the only that makes sense is 1 imo. 3 is a sponsored gimmick which even damages the laces, and 2 & 4 make no sense for anyone who actually needs to walk properly in the shoes, rather than just snap an instagram photo or 2 and then take them off: you're tying the laces before fitting the foot in, which means they'll be nearly always loose (else you won't fit). And you can't readjust it later either, without having to repeat the process. At this point, just buy a pair of chelsea boots, at least those are designed to be worn unlaced and have an elastic band for fitting in without needing a shoe horn and probably damaging the shoe anyway.
@@davidoletep I think hiding the laces is ok on casual tennis shoes/sneakers, but a dress shoe does deserve a knot and what a better knot than the Berluti.
You guys..geez I now have FIVE pairs of straight laces. Two for my dress shoes, 3 for my winter boots - ESPECIALLY winter boots because you're bending over tying them up and still they have all this extra lace material drooping off the sides. Imagine winter boots becoming slip on boots! Awesome! But what I have been waiting to say is that I get my shoe shined every 5 wears - Alternating shoes means every two weeks I shine my shoes at the hotel near my office. And when I first put on the straight laces, they noticed immediately because they didn't have to tuck in my laces! They could just go straight for the leather soap and also they noticed how clean it looks. One of the girls even said she would get some for her husband. So the word is spreading :D I'm now waiting for different colors for their casual laces, so I can replace my runners laces
Literally anyone who’s gone thru basic training has been tucking their laces ever since. My “okay boomer” moment, if you gotta teach millennials how to tie their shoes, their gen-x parents have failed them.
Really enjoy the channel in the content and a learned a few things from it. I’m going OK Boomer on this one though. Tucking laces in is always uncomfortable these other methods don’t give you the proper fit. The straight laces are pretty cool but require having a shoehorn around at all times. Bunny ears all the way and if a woman walks because of my lack a of fashion sense, she can keep walking.
Why does it seem like this guy is only in the video to micromanage? Could of done without seeing him and hearing his little useless side comments. But she did great explaining thanks!
Looks good, I agree. But it feels terrible. I hate feeling the laces inside my shoes) I prefer using shorter laces to leave as little as possible outside the shoe.

3:52. What happened to the other end of the shoe lace?? It magically went from two ends to just one end??
Was wondering the same thing. I guess you do the same thing on both sides?
Lol I was literally trying to find out how to hide my laces when this was posted 😂
You ever feel like you’re being watched 👀👀

Straight Laces was the best tip on here. Everything else is common sense. I’m probably gonna go buy some
Do you have a link to Dorians jacket?
Dorian's hair looks on point
Ash’s fashion sense is back ! 😄
I ordered some for every pair of shoes. They are legit 🙌
Thank you! Got some Straight Laces.
OMG i always thought how people on magazine did that , now i know.

Scott Sandifer They meant what you wrote in your last paragraph.
I love hiding my shoe laces even on dressy leather shoes looks so classy
I literally bought so many straight laces accidentally just now I need more sneakers for it to make sense :D go well with me new Koio shoes I bought yesterday, thank you so much for the help
What brand is the white sneakers shown in the video?
I believe the first pair (unbranded) are the Reids from Beckett Simonon. I just got two pairs and I love them!
3:54 where to get the clip?
Every look is CLEAN and classy 😀😀
Totally agree with last comment.
It looks unnatural to have laces showing but no knots on shoes
@AWxINC, The Reid sneaker is on a flash sale for $109!!!
Great video. I was just wondering the other day on ways to hide the bunny ears.
Searching from hours finally found thanks 😊😊
What clip was used?
What jacket is Dorian wearing?
Aureus Shoes had some lace shoes but slip on sneaker style. I don’t know what happened to Aureus
Decent idea at 3:50, to be fair to you! Thanks!
I gotta try those straight laces
i Hide Laces with straight lines since my 14/15 years old,i am professional!
I always do the last one
What are those dark brown boots?
excellent breakdown
Why am I watching this my shoes doesn't have laces HAHAHA
I'm going to actually use these!
The coupon code for Straight Laces doesn't work anymore, unfortunately... 😔
Tucking them in ok, cutting them, you bugging !
V. useful video and clearly presented - thanks !
Great vid. Been hiding my laces since I found your channel 3 years ago. Looks super clean and crisp. Going to get this accessory for my Vans.
Bro is like every male cast member of the MCU mooshed into one
I’ve tied a knot and cut them for ages too!

Ukraine is in more trouble than your guy’s looks

My thoughts exactly. Sure, one can hide the knot if you like but the laces should also fulfill its purpose, which is adjust the shoe to your foot.

This means alot to me my laces get caught on keys when operating clutch and I've fallen off step on semi truck onto my back, thanks so much!
how?
How are you allowed to drive a truck when you can't even cope with shoelaces? 😂
Do you drive an old U model Mack or something?
Really helpful.
Perfect!!! I just started doing this
Elastic laces for boss level game
The last tip is not for those of us with high arches.🙂
Can you please make a video on height insoles and elevator shoes? Or something about height.. Please.. Thank you..
When they cut the laces i gave up all hope for them
Honestly, I prefer the knot being visible - I personally feel this is taking looking neat/clean a bit too far
Coming up next: Button-less dress shirts!
Yeah worrying about bunny ears is an exaggeration.
I think hiding the knot is stupid AF. A berlutti knot adds class and shows you know what you're doing. You will never convnce me to hide the knot.

I tried it but they just flop out.
Another great video guys! Would love to hear your opinions on spring and summer formal wear!
Absolutely love it! Thank You!

Been doing these a while now minus the elastic laces.

what are straight laces?
If you hide them in your sneakers that would be very uncomfortable walking around an amusement park all day with no socks on
Cut my laces! 😱 no way. I use the tuck method. Watched this to find a hack but have been doing this forever.
...but..but.. Bunny Ears and I have known each other for so long....and they look classy. 🙄
why do I see Dr. Strange without a beard
Same
I like tied laces. Adds character.
Literally anyone who’s gone thru basic training has been tucking their laces ever since. My “okay boomer” moment, if you gotta teach millennials how to tie their shoes, their gen-x parents have failed them.
Lol. Well, I'd say there are bigger failings, like not being able to cook and always rely on food delivery e.g..
I tried it but they flop out. There must be an easier way.
Hiding shoelaces is the woooooooooorst.
Why are people still taking info from these substitute teachers
I tried the product advertised and the laces were too thick for the eyelets of all my dress shoes. I'm returning them.
🔥
What about loafers!?!?!????
Thanks Ashley and Dorian for making this video. You have changed my shoe game. “CAN I GET A HELL YA” 🙌🏼🙌🏼
No laces. Velcro. ❤
I just stick to method 2 lol

I came across this video and I can’t stop laughing 😂 my God people still don’t know how to tie laces what is going on 😂😂
It's stuff like this that separates the men from the boys. It's like a cheat code for fashion. Great video. Thanks.

dude my names Dorian also
Great video, but gotta say, I think bomber jackets look childish on men
Do ok
Never will tuck in
Very confusing as 5 videos are simultaneously tying...😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Peak OCD

Way more uncomfortable and imo most of the time the shoes looks better with laces out
She talked for over HALF of the video before dude got a full coherent sentence out. He only talked for 20 seconds-ish And this is "MENS Fasioner"???
This is just dumb. The shoe laces aren't even designed that way. You make your walk and run unsteady like that.
Oh my god GET TO THE POINT you talk too much
Buy shoes without shoelaces… 😂
What unbearable people.
Look so nine
Pota ginupit
Who is the husband again?
Confusing video
Bloody hell....turns out this just another glorified commercial. Arhhh
Had to mute her annoying voice

How many people really notice your laces, though?
I tried them all. Didn't like any of them. I'm sticking with old school bunny ears.
