Dudes... Please stop fighting it when an episode WANTS to go longer. I'm drawing assumptions here based on vibes but it seemed he was ready to just keep talking and it easily could have continued. You guys are worth far more than an hour to 1.5 hours when the guest and vibes are wonderful!
Agreed, there are a few like this where it seemed like an arbitrary time cut-off when the conversation was still flowing.
Thank you! Drives me nuts when podcast end within the same 8 to 12min time frame every time. Let it be organic.
Celebrities sell their time, too😅
Word! This is super interesting.
Can you comment this on like, every podcast? lol
could not agree more
I’m really enjoying this so far, didn’t expect them to have so much chemistry but this is a great conversation.
I grew up listening to this guys' remixes and originals. No matter what you think, he had a positive impact on music.
Of course... Absolute legend.
I’m a huge Eminem fan who never understood moby. I now am a moby fan as well. Good dude. Past is past
I listen to his ambient stuff every single day. Absolute legend.
Steve-O sounds like a cigarette that talks
porcelain in the movie the beach is a true gem that will live forever. Holy cow that song can make you cry.
It’s a great song!!
And the song at the end of Heat!
That song and movie hold a special place in my heart
Love the heavens gate t-shirt. What a Steve-o thing to wear!
We need to do better on this planet. Thank you for talking about it
“And moby, you can get stomped by Obie”
You’re too old, let go, it’s over
@@4tadoYou live under a rock bro lol
I Always Heard "Moby you can get Stoned by Obie" lol
Lol the early 2000s when you'd go to a rave after the Eminem concert.
Lmao
Play is an absolute classic album.
Love this. Moby is great. Thanks for talking about Veganism :)
I am just over the hump of my first year of sobriety, and hearing you guys talk about sobriety with my favorite artist of all time, I dunno how to explain how meaningful this podcast was to me today so thank you for all your hard work and for giving this to us.
Keep with it brother stay strong and God bless 🙏
Hell yeah brother! Were all proud of you. Keep it up!!!
Proud of you, bro! Stay well. ❤
same feeling here ! just turned 4 years last month but still the encouragement by older veterans is bombastic !

As a lifelong Eminem fan and casual Moby fan, I am excited for this
I’m a lifelong fan of both Moby and Eminem. I grew up listening to both.
Moby has technical skills in terms of production and even Multi-Instrumentalism. Eminem, is well, a rap god of course. I like both equally.
This podcast should have been so much longer! I could have watched this go on for as long as possible.
But Moby smells like a moldy basement that masturbates too much.
👍
Feeling so real was one of my first cd singles, played it many many times ❤ thanks for all the greatly produced music you rock Moby
Steve has really come a long way as a podcaster. Great work my friend.
He has come even a longer way as a person. So proud of this guy.
Dude when he sings in tool. He so different then his Molby guy dj
Ive never clicked on a podcast faster than this. One of my favorite human beings.
Thanks for the vibes Moby.
Fell behind for a minute there but after binging the last few episodes I'm all caught up! Whole team is killing it as always 🔥 yeaaah dude!
Steve-o has mastered life. What a legend of a man. Moby is also a huge inspiration. What a video!!!
Moby is so down to earth. He calls a spade a spade. Legend
One time, landscaping, I called a spade, James Spader as I was handing it to my foreman and he was on the ground laughing 😂

Great hang out! You guys were enjoying each others chemistry. We all felt it!
YES. They mentioned this before and i thought it had been posted and couldn’t find it anywhere. Glad about this.
I've been sober since Dec. 11th 2008 and vegan since April 2013. These guys are so relatable and have been great influences for me for a long time now. This episode was great! Thank you both for all you do!
You must've looked old by now..
@@PittheadX 🫵👏👏👏👏
Steve O.. I listen to every episode until the end, whether you have a guest or not. Love the deep thoughts you have. Makes me think. Love that you are sober!!
Love Moby and his music, he composed one of the best soundtracks in cinema history with Heat. What a film and soundtrack.
Much love for Moby!!! As well as the entire Wildride crew! Yeeeaaa Dude 🤙
I do so love Moby - his music has been the soundtrack of the best chapters in my life. Amazing interview, thank you, Steve-O, Scott, and Vinny!
I'm sorry to hear that
Not nice! Keep your crappy crap to yourself. No need to put bad energy out there, it’s just not worth it.
Maynard is awesome. So many sides to him.
@@brianheinz5247 I mean that joke wasn't funny the first 10 times you made it. It's not going to start getting any funnier if you keep making it.🤦♂️
I've gotta say, I enjoyed this way more than I expected
He seems a really nice dude. Seems genuine and generally awesome.
...Unless you're a woman.
Right or wrong, I always size up guests by how they respond to Wendy. Moby is off to a very good start.
Yo, I think the same thing every time.
the way he was petting her looked weird
you've been going ham with guests nonstop, great work man
Very moving. I've always loved Moby. I have always thought about agriculture in America. This interview challenged me to do a deep dive into factory farming which has now driven me to adopt a more pescatarian diet. Thank you!
Yo, I had a copy The End on VHS when it came out, and I'll never forget that. Now I have to go hunt down the Moby tracks from it. Lol..
I really enjoyed this episode. You guys both just exuded authenticity the whole time, and I was all ears. Thanks, dudes!
A few minutes in- hands down best episode yet.
I’ve been waiting for Moby to be a guest ❤
People seem to be angry and hostile at people who have good souls. I’m a very angry and bitter person like most people, but I love Moby. I love his discography and him as an individual. Moby has a good soul. Moby should be accepted a bit more.
Based on the stuff I’ve heard about how Moby is, I expected to not like him. Just finished the episode with much respect for the man. Thanks for a great episode!
Was at the taping of the Bucket list special in London -- it was EPIC! Can’t wait for it to come out and rewatch it 🔥🔥🔥
I saw Moby by happenstance in high school. Like everyone, I fell in love with Porcelain. I lost my electronic music roots for about 10 years while I was listening to all the genres but in that time, I also had the epiphany that animals are thinking, feeling creatures that deserve dignity.
I'll be 40 in October. Seeing this pod is such a full-circle moment.
While Moby may not have influenced my choices, he might have influenced my soul to soften.
💚
So he could molest you. Because he is a groomer.
I'm glad you found a reason to talk about yourself
@@elec123 Lol. Your comment is saying EVERYTHING there is to know about you so.... Nice try.
I’m soo glad the final taping went well for you Steve. I’m proud of you, all of you ❤
This was another great one from you Steve !!
Easily one of the best podcasts so far. Moby and Steve sharing stories was so dope 👌👌
Moby is a fucking gem. This just might be my favorite episode, so wholesome
definitely one of the best episodes even though i know very little of Moby aside from the SouthSide song. can't wait to see SteveO on his podcast.
❤
Steve, the way you do your ad reads is so much better than how most people do theirs.
I like how you make each one fit into whatever you're talking about instead of just inserting a pre-recorded stand-alone ad. ❤
Great guest. Good work boys!
I've never heard much about Mr.Moby so I don't have any back story... but I love SteveO!! thank you for your great listening skills. it's so crazy to hear about these like old "celebrity drama" stories.
Two absolute legends!
Love you, Moby!! Your music helped me get through some tough times in high school. Awesome podcast episode.
Wow Moby is such a smart and interesting dude, I've always loved his music to, he's one of those dudes I could chill and talk for hours with, I also relate alot to his and steve-o's story about recovery, great show y'all, much love from Alabama ❤
His autobiographies are really amazing. Hell of a story.
Never thought i would enjoy a moby interview. This was great. Seems like a good guy.
Great pod cast. Love you Moby.
I think Wendy and Moby would be good companions.
This is my biased favorite guest solely due to relativity with his diet, lifestyle, knowledge of punk rock and outlook on music, cinema and culture. Steve I'm so stoked you had him on. Cheers
I love Moby!!! So happy about this ❤❤❤
Just remember hearing Moby for the first time from the Formula 1 intro music, got you pumped up for the race!
Well said much respect and love Moby
Eminem had beefs wit half the music industry and rappers I don't get why they think he only disses pop stars
Thank you. Steve had such a cliche take "Eminem took an L for picking on poor Moby." Then he back tracked when Moby told him he actually provoked it. People always get mad at Eminem for calling someone out but usually never know what the other person did to start it. Also, Moby was huge back in the day! Eminem still handled business whether it be another rapper talking shit or a pop star. Everyone who wanted smoke was fair game.
As a beekeeper, bees do make honey over winter if they have enough resources to make honey like pollen sources but because winter effects flowers, they tend to hibernate until flowers grow back. However if you continue to support the hive during winter with healthy resources bees will continue making honey, this is were beekeepers are so important, the bees that Moby speaks of being killed is true because in fact the Queen will kill her own hives over winter in the wild by causing them to swarm, Swarming happens when the Queen commands her hive to leave and become basically Queenless. In the wild this hive will almost certainly die but a beekeeper can help prevent this by taking a newly home Queen and place her in a bee box the Swarming bees will be attracted to the new Queen who they can serve saving huge populations but this presents another problem, the hive might not accept her and could kill the Queen very easily by balling her or the new Queen might be accepted by the hive but the Queen does not want that hive at all. Beekeeping is very complex and sometimes vets have to put animals down just like beekeepers have to their bees.
What a great interview!
Manuka is a native tree found in New Zealand. It's like a flowering bush. The honey produced has healing qualities
Play and 18 are masterpieces , i would love to see him live
Great episode, love moby and his music
Hey guys love the podcast , especially talking about the 12 steps ….I’m a member of AA in Scotland,22 years sober…..I’ve seen Moby play live several times ,he is an outstanding musician……..oh I can identify a lot with you guys ,my sponsor was old school ,he didn’t miss it , he held me to account on all aspects of my life …..🙏
Well done on your sobriety - you’ve done really well
Holy E Sht!
Music without Moby would be like water never turning to ice, It doesn't make any sense, and his music is one thing that keeps me grounded and feeling alive to this world :)
@@RayHuskyPunk His music was actual art. NOTHING moved me more than his sht in the 90's. NOTHING.
@@thirtysilver33 YYYEEESSS I couldn't agree more! His music from the 90's is so uplifting and motivating
@@RayHuskyPunkI prefer Moby over Eminem ANY DAY. Eminem’s old discography is phenomenal, but Moby is STILL phenomenal. Eminem can’t make a good record in 2023. Sorry.
and I’m an Eminem fan, but I prefer being a BIGGER Moby fan ANY day. He’s better than most artists today. Absolute pioneer. I love his orchestral record with renditions.
I randomly got "Play" at the public library when I was like 13, I don't know why. I don't even think I'd ever heard a Moby song before. I just thought it looked cool. That album unironically changed the way I thought about music, forever
I just watched Southland Tales because of this interview and I'm obsessed
That “reach around” comment was to funny, think steve-o missed that
It’s sad it took as long as it has for me to realize that Moby is such a genuine and awesome person. I was just dismissive for too long of his work and him as a human. I didn’t think I’d enjoy this episode as much as I did. It’s great to see and hear him and Stevo just being so awesome to each other. Thank you Stevo for bringing him on to your show.
Moby, your RAD AS FK! ❤
Our stories are vwry similar Steveo, good to hear it.
Thanks for putting time stamps .
So damn versatile is Moby's tuneage. All sorts going on in the vaults & same as for Steve-O's antics. Cheers for this 1 (gutted not longer) + these Podcasts are a hell of a boredom beater.✌️
Moby fucking RULES. I LOVE HIM. His podcast is GREAT too. Dude is 1000% authentically himself.
Yay Moby!! So interesting to hear you all talk about stuff. I can tell you all are lovers at heart. Good vibes :)
🎉 I cheered out loud when Moby praised the movie "Southland Tales" I love that movie! In my top 5
Not gonna lie the moment you guys brought up crass I got chills! Love this ep!
Moby play up there in my top 5 album’s of all time
Def listening to Moby radio on Pandora
Its nice to hear Steve-O talk more about animal rights on the podcast. He should invite Earthling Ed or Rich Roll on.
Earthling ed would be amazing. I don't think Steve o would be eating sealife after that conversation
@@fightingforanimals3961 How many animals died today because of vegans producing carbon emissions and taking up land?
Earthling Ed would be a great guest. Also, he lives in the US now so they could make it happen.
Moby gets a bad rap for some reason but he really has made some great music, and he’s apparently a pretty cool guy.
“No one can stop us now because we are all made of stars”. Song was badass.
Well, he’s extremely woke, which is one reason.
I probably haven’t heard that album since my dxm days. A bottle of robitussin maximum strength and a little moby playing on my minidisc play.
Better than being asleep
@@the_minimalistic_adventure That's why you like him.
@@Pluralofvinylisvinyls It's not wokeness. It's ignorant hatred of human nature.
90s Moby was unreal...Moby - Go will always be in my top 10

Amazing episode! Thank you
Where's Paul Brisske? :(
Been sober a few years now. No AA this time though. Most of those people - in my area - are AA-holes. They were getting in the way of my sobriety with their snobby, cold attitudes.
Love and peace!
I bought a track called "Thousand" by Moby.
Definitely one of the craziest rave tunes I owned early 90's..
Nice - Instict Records? Worked for the label a bit in the very early 90's. Amazing years for the rave scene.
@@303chrisv Yeah. I'm embarrassed to say I had to look up a picture of the label though. Lol, sorry I sold all my vinyl not long after the millennium.
Some other tunes I had back then were kinda trance oriented. Didgeridoo by Aphex Twin, untitled Drax albums (Thomas Heckman), the early Tresor Compilations, Seven Vath, even had loads of Harthouse (the numbered MZ releases, Barbarella, etc).
I bought everything back then, didn't matter if it was trance or acid (I was heavily into LSD).
In '93 I'm sat next to this guy at work and he says: I go to this club called the "Orbit" just outside Leeds (England). There's a space in the car, do you take E? So I say yeah sure, pick me up Saturday. I go see Luke Slater and Joey Beltram. After that... new decks, new tunes, new Saturday night :)
All my techno (and a few newer tunes) are compiled on my channel. There's some mixes too. No trance or acid though.
I miss mixing but the lifestyle would finish me off now for sure.
@@ZombieATAT Right on - Same, I'm in my mid 50's now, there is no way I could keep up with it today :)
@@303chrisv I can still listen to techno but it's not 24/7 anymore, might be once a month I'll spend a day.
Punk stuff, I'll maybe listen to once a year.
I'm definitely into a broader mix of styles instead now. Can be Jazz, Funk, Two Tone, Acoustic, there's something called Electro Swing that I go back to regularly.
Have you found the same has happened?
21:22 clearly mentioning Bam here.. I really hope Bam turns his life around sooner rather than later
Moby filmed one of his music videos in my little home town, and every once in a while when I'm driving down the main street it was filmed on that song pops into my head 😂
I love Moby’s music so much
This was a good one!!
In my head I thought "sure, check it out, but no way I can listen for a whole hour and a half".
Now at the end I could listen for another hour and a half.
Would love to hear both of your takes on some contemporary hardcore and metalcore bands
Moby acts and even looks so much like one of my friends but I feel like everyone knows a person with a “Moby” personality
Always enjoy Moby interviews. Roots right back to NYHC
Love you Steve-o
I think we need 3 hour podcasts.
This was Awesome 💯🙌🔥🔥
I seen moby and was like what but man i was wrong great episode!!
Mobys description of Mānuka honey is almost perfect! Ti is another Māori name for Mānuka, the plant, so that is why he called it Ti tree (which probably sounded like tea tree to a non New Zealander). It's named Mānuka after the plant, the Ti tree.
The plant has strong medicinal benefits, so the pollinators take some of those medicines when they pick up the pollen.
