OMG Mel! I was the little girl in 1st grade who told all my friends they were crazy to believe in Santa. I'm 70 and they still won't let me forget how I ruined that Christmas in 1958!!! Anyway - love you two girls together. Also love the fact that Mel can show people how to decorate in smaller places. Not all people have huge houses (although I have my great grandfathers 3000 sq foot farmhouse and I have 5 Christmas trees). Still everyone needs encouragement to make their place festive rather large or small. Thank you both!!

I am colonial/ some prim but I lean towards colonial. Wish we had more on apartment living, condos, which is mine and townhomes. I live alone as well after my husband's passing , clean houses as well after 30 years of teaching,(need busy!). I'm so glad to see this! My home is super small and I still have 3 kids at home, I find it so hard to figure out how to decorate it. I typically buy things and then can't figure out how I want to arrange anything. I'm getting better, coming into my style finally. I bought a new tree this year, my old one is very prim like a large version of the one in Mel's kitchen and my kids hate it...I still love it but I figured I'd get something they'd appreciate while they're still here with me. It was EXPENSIVE. It's flocked and nice and I had to just pay the price because they were starting to sell out at some stores. I keep moving my living room furniture around like a tetris game trying to make my vision happen, but at least I finally have a vision lol. I love the cabinet doors off in the kitchen....something I have been contemplating for quite a while! I also love the curtain on the washer or dryer, I have a similar plan for mine in my half bath, they are so ugly lol. I was going to use a floral fabric, but now I'm going to rethink it, I like the neutral. Anyway, thank you for sharing, it looks great!
