Memes aside Gojo super fans love to ignore that Gojo himself admitted that if Sakuna was going max power and if he did and didn’t utilize Mahoraga he could have probably won still. The whole point of Sakuna fighting with Mahoraga is that he wanted to adapt to infinity. He fought like he did so he can have a chance to adapt to it and once he did he was able to adapt into his slash. With a slash that even bypasses infinity he will be more powerful than before so he needed to go through with his plan. He did and executed it greatly even if it was risky. I love Gojo too but I am not biased to one side and enjoy all sides of it. That being said the only negative thing about the fight was off screening the death. Showcasing Sakuna’s plan and performing would have been way more satisfying than Gojo just suddenly dying so hope the anime fixes that
