Thanks. I just rejoined NEHGS a month or so again. Glad to see this. I learned one important thing. The first Catholic Archbishop began his term in 1866. My great-grandmother was born in the Boston area in 1865. No wonder I have not been able to find her.

Question...Wil you find information from Roman Catholic Church Adoptions?

I would love to see a video on how to search the Plantations of Maine. Many of my ancestors birth and deaths are from that area and time frame. It has been difficult to find actual birth or death records. I found marriage, land, probate that doesn't always relate the parent to child relationship. Elijah Pease (1778-1823) is a good example. His probate record list his wife Mary as admintrix and guardian of his minor children. Children not listed. The town history Industry Maine, states 13 children. Also not new article about a fire in Gilman Pond where he fell in and died a few days later according to a family Bible. His wife Mary "Polly" Collins died ten years later 1833. Again no mention of children.

I'd like more information on searching the English ancestors of the 1600s immigrants.

Appreciate your effort, but,f or goodness sake, Don, please define any and all acronyms and jargon terms. Do not assume that all of us are computer literate and know what URL and or computerese mean. Such a detail marks a superior educator. Perhaps thiking how what you say would be understood by your mother would concretize it. Thank you. RD Kenney
