My two fave features are: (1) putting it on airplane mode to keep a book from the library until I'm finished, while still returning it so the next person can read it and (2) changing the page to scroll instead of tap to flip the page. I find I spend more time reading and get less distracted when I can just continuously scroll rather than tap every time I need to change the page.
Omg, yes the airplane mode one is so good🤭 It also makes the battery last forever! I need to try the scrolling! I’ve only ever done that with a remote but I’m willing to try anything for a better reading experience! 📚
I’m getting a kindle paperwhite signature edition for my birthday I can’t wait! And I hope my grandma lets me have it when it comes in mail so I can take it on our trip to Dollywood.

The main benefit to upgrading to the PaperWhite (imo) is that it’s waterproof for reading in the pool or bath. My basic Kindle doesn’t have dark mode because it’s the 2019 version but the current one does!
