  • Welcome to 'How Much 2023'. Due to the success of my how much video, i have decided to do an update to help further. This is because i have more knowledge now and also there have been changes in the industry since I began. I believe this is a very good guide and although you can never list anything, the basics are there.

I am PAYE. The dog will have certain targets it has to hit, in order to pass a team certificate. TO my knowledge, the dog can be worked whilst in training with a qualified trainer. If you do a weeks intense course, the dog won’t go from pet to protection. I did about 5 months of training and hard work, to get him to a point he could pass a team certificate. I would suggest that the dog has decent obedience, can search an area for a patrol, be confident enough to do a standoff & bite a training pillow/sleeve. A lot of that will done with a trainer and then practise at home. You can use a dog or a bitch ✌🏻

What bite sleeve would you recommend to me as the one I curently have from amazon (a green one with a protection on top of it cost me £40) has been ripped by my dog 😅😅😅

Hey man. I don’t think you can go wrong with this - www.fordogtrainers.co.uk/bite-dog-sleeves-c-61/jute-bite-steeve-for-young-and-adult-dog-igp-training-p-549.html
As you have found out, you get what you pay for. These were recommended to me by my trainer.
      Hope that helps ✌🏻

Just a note on that. This is quite a soft sleeve. If you have a seriously powerful biting dog, you might feel it a bit. But there are other sleeves on that site that are harder. ✌🏻

Thank you so much Michael! Yeah my boy has a lot of power on biting he loves the sleeve. I have bought a jute sleeve of amazon but that is so soft that when I was screaming out that it hurts it was actually hurting not faking it haha. I'm using the soft one with my girls as their bite is soft comparing to his. Thank you again for the website! I'll have a look now !

@@tedy2009tedy you shouldn’t be sleeving your own dog firstly, if you have done a NASDU and have any experience you should know this. Use reputable companies to purchase equipment. Speak to your CT providers.
