    I found this kit challenging. Your paint job turned out nice! The interior is perfect! I also like the weathered version! You can check out my build on DMG Scale Models.

      Thanks DMG. It was challenging. Would have been happier if they supplied a brake booster and master cylinder to fill up that empty space.

    Any problems with the interior fit? Mine was a bit warped to begin with. After over an hour of jerking around with it, I decided to ditch the interior and black out the windows. Just couldn't get the intetior/chassis/body to mate up correctly.

    • @oldmantech5399
      @oldmantech5399  2 года назад +1

      Yeh, that's a pisser when that happens, considering you had a beautiful interior. I believe I did have an issue. If I remember correctly, the tub was like a teeter-totter on the chassis. My solution was to use a rotary tool with sanding drum and hog-out a lot of material on the chassis tunnel and also on the bottom of the tub where they meet, with a lot of hand sanding. Thanks for the question.

    • @TI4438
      @TI4438 2 года назад

      @@oldmantech5399 teeter-totter would be an accurate description. Thanks.

    Did you film the chrome foil application. No experience with it at all would be a worth while education. Used the chrome pen ….more of a mess than not.

    • @oldmantech5399
      @oldmantech5399  Год назад

      I did not film the application due to so many other videos available, showing how to do so. That is how I learned, watching a ton of videos. Yes, using the chrome pen can be a messy and nerve-racking experience. Thanks for the comment Gene.
