To weld, was it necessary to disconnect the batteries or how did you do it?

You have to disconnect the battery there is an orange socket under the rear seat

Where did you find the quarter panel and how much did it cost?

The quarter panel is from Tesla parts in Fremont, CA. Costs around 2k for the panel.

Are the quarters steel? Also dose Tesla provide tool since they pay hourly? I might be getting in soon. Any information would be greatly appreciated!

actually in replacing aluminum car rear fender panel is no need plug weld, we must use aluminum rivet machine
