That's a so-called term
UP and Ateneo are friends for a long time. I have batchmates from UP who are from Ateneo Highschool and vice versa. So, parang walang iba. Sometimes, UP is using Ateneo's facility or the other way around. And neighbors lang kasi walang iba. :) Also, in the workplace, most people under MT Program/Upper Management are from these two schools. :)
JAYSON UAO Some of my Ags and Hs Batchmates went to UP some at the Uste most remain at the AdMU i last until 1st.yr College and passed the exams at Baguio. 😁 and now a member of the Long gray line. But still have the "Dugong Bughaw" ☝
FYI sa mga kapwa Isko: the melody for "A Song For Mary" is similar to that of "O Canada", the national anthem of Canada. This is because Ateneo band moderator Col. Jose Campaña adopted the melody of that hymn, which was at the time still a patriotic song. The lyrics were written by Fr. James Reuter, SJ, known for his work together with the "Rosary Priest" Fr. Patrick Peyton.
FYI for Team Animo Ateneo, "UP Naming Mahal" is similar in nature to our national anthem in that it was a mashup of several Tagalog translations from the English original "UP Beloved" since the search committee did not like one entry alone (our national anthem is a translation of a translation as well).

It's so wonderful seeing a lot of people from the maroon side of the stadium also singing A Song For Mary. It just goes to show that a ton of AHS boys study/studied in UP for college.
Also those who went to Ateneo for their undergrad and then went to the UP College of Law or UP College of Medicine.
