'At Hardhome with six ships. Wild seas. Blackbird lost with all hands, two Lyseni ships driven aground on Skane, Talon taking water. Very bad here. Wildlings eating their own dead. Dead things in the woods. Braavosi captains will only take women and children on their ships. Witch women call us slavers. Attempt to take Storm Crow defeated, six crew dead, many Wildlings. Eight ravens left. Dead things in the water. Send help by land, seas wracked by storms.' From Talon, by hand of Maester Harmune. Cotter Pyke, A Dance with Dragons
I remember how shocked I was first seeing this and as a show only person. All these years later (and now a book reader too), and it is still so impactful to watch Jon's confrontation with the Others, and hear that Valyrian steel sing when their swords meet! 🗡❄️
The They Thene (can’t spell it haha) joke was Top Tier comedy, Angel. This episode was so good. You finally get to see the extent of the Night King’s powers and just how quickly he can raise the dead. Learn that V Steel is magic and good if not better than dragon glass when fighting the White Walkers.
And that was Hardhome....that was crazy 🤪 such a cool moment, both Jon & one of the white generals, super surprised that his sword stopped his....so awesome!
Remember watching this as it aired. The fact that the show was able to deliver a mini dark age zombie movie blew me away. Every time I rewatch I'm always surprised how little time of the episode hardhome takes up compared to my memory of the episode.
its funny im going thorugh all the GOT reactions of You tube createros of certain episodes and i come across this one... i just finished watching the original for a second time
Who would be more successful: Ramsay with 20 good men or Bronn with 10 good men and some climbing spikes? Post-Watch Edit: I'm pretty sure Arya laughing at the news that Lady Lysa died did a lot to make the guards believe she wasn't really Arya Stark.
This was the best episode for all of a year. But it's still the second best episode. The last 3 episodes of season 5 are the best three episode stretch in the series.
The actor that played the Night King here changes later and it's visibly telling. But I liked this guy better than the actor they had later. This was Richard Brake. I picked him out right away because he has a very specific face even with the makeup. He's more imposing, more visibly just evil than Furdo and generally plays an a**hole in many of his roles.
I liked the portrayal of the undead here compared to S8 because they weren't toppling on top of each other WWZ style while runninf across the field. Moving like normal people. The stupid skeleton tidal wave in S8 didn't give the Unsullied an opportunity to showcase their phalanx tactics.
We Stan Kenny. I don't usually comment on out continuity but I think you forgot that the entire castle thought Sansa was Alayne. And Arias only significant family in the battle would been Eliza who's dead. So who to tell?
I think Jon buried the lead on purpose as a show of courage and good faith for tormund to vouch for him in a more passionate, less grovelly way. It's a good way to be. You know you have a sponsor right next to you? Trust them to act upon their own honor. 🖤
i love jon and theon. i like theon regardless, you’ll see. remenber tho ramsey fucked him up physically and mentally. he’s worse than joffrey. i mean everyone has done fucked up shit, plus he was a “hostage” remember? nah i don’t feel bad for her at all tf. she’s done worse and doesn’t care.
Also, always remember that any time religion is seen as anything other than evil, it's wrong. Religion is always evil. By the way, this is the only Season 5 episode that was worth a damn.
It’s a populist uprising lead from religious fanaticism in the light of a weakened line of succession/federal instability after a continental war over said succession The sociopolitical context is everything EVEN if the show mythology is manifest in-universe; what more if the mythology isn’t

41:36 what dafuq, Cousin?!?! #herestheThing 😉
The Hardhome fight was some of the best television! This plus the S7 "Loot Train" attack was so much fun to watch.
easily
I mustve rewatched the loot train episode 10 time at least
Spoils of War was a great battle episode.
the behind the scenes of how they filmed those 2 sets were amazing 🤯
Excellent episodes!
This is the episode that I became ride or die for Tormund. He's the best side character in the show.

Damn, after listening to him say what should happen to Theon, I'm thinking House Angel could give House Bolton a run for its money 😂
#AngelOfDeath
So idk if you guys know this but Valyrian Steel was forged using dragonfire and magics
And that was Hardhome....that was crazy 🤪 such a cool moment, both Jon & one of the white generals, super surprised that his sword stopped his....so awesome!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Season 4 is my favorite season, but this is my favorite episode of the show.
Kenny's despair during the patreon plug 😆We know buddy.
Hardhome was the best GoT episode. That end scene was fucking terrifying.
18:02 "This is not game of thrones's best friend race"
"Aw man, i really liked them too!!" is pretty much the game of thrones motto 😂
You’re editor is awesome ❤❤ great reaction
Unexpectedly epic episode 8. It was so powerful to watch Jon win.
Sean Tanktop has brought back the tanktop and all is right in the world again
Solid Angel impression, Kenny. Lol.
They Thenns 🤣
It was this episode when I started taking the white walkers as a serious threat. It starts to put other sub stories in perspective.
That Angel impression from Kenny. 😆On point!
it's getting close to THE scene.
cannot wait to see their reactions!

They are near the golden season of GOT. All the hype and wait.
And now my watch begins
This was peak game of thrones. This episode in particular because no one saw it coming even book readers
Winds of Winter!!!! "Getting Closer and Closer!"
Wow! First time catching a live!!!
a cockle is some kind of mussel or something. i only know because of stardew valley
Does Mr. Kenjamin have a channel where he breaks down fight choreo or something? Id watch the heck out of that!
I’m secretly waiting to get to battle of the bastards.
I already thought GOT was incredible before, but after this episode I was convinced I'd have it as my favorite show of all time... Welp.
This episode really hits home. HARD.
He's Castle Black in the streets but a Wildling in the sheets 😂
Oysters Clams & Cockles is the alarm tone on my phone!
😂 amazing 👏
Its been a routine to watch the reactions to every episode of hotd as I used to do with got! Thanks for the laughs!
its funny im going thorugh all the GOT reactions of You tube createros of certain episodes and i come across this one... i just finished watching the original for a second time
Hardhome is possibly the best episode in television history.
If only they knew how much nothing this leads to
WunWun is named after Phil Simms of the NY Giants. Martin is a huge giants fan and Phil Simms wore number 11....wun wun!

Good to see Bam Margera finally looking healthy and off the drugs 😏😂

Tormund....hardest man in the show lol

Cockles are like clams. The difference is their shells, the meat is the same, I think.
To Be Fair, not just the opening of Buffy but the whole episode has no music. Just ambient sound.
Angel of death was so happy in the episode intro. Hope to see you next week for HotD finale!
XD the meme “first time?”. Perfect lol
Still my 2nd favourite episode
Valerian Steel sword .... only to be used in a cool way this episode, completely pointless for the rest of the show lol
I think you might be forgetting a few key scenes lol
@@smashbrandiscootch719 i purposefully used Sword
Y'all are awesome. You're fun and make me laugh even when GoT is everything BUT funny! Thanks!!

Sean has gotten better at not literally pointing shit out.

How is Angel not interested in Arya being sent to murder an insurance salesman?

lmfao Nice Kenny. I see what you did there. XD
27:47 perhaps I am but a dusty mummy to spry young Kenny, but…
“SURPRISE, MotherFuqqarr!”
"they/thenns"
19:25 She is SO badass.
I forgot how bad Hardhome was.... my gods....
This meant to be Unlisted?
we just needed to set the premiere time
@@SeanTanktop Ah ok, I was just confused cos I got to watch it before the premiere even happened.
