Even going back to Cal, Goff's fake game has been top tier.
As a Patriots fan I read that Ben Johnson’s interview went fantastic is the term that was used. Man I would LOVE to have him as our coach with Drake Maye! I think that could be a special combination!
Is it criminal when you were fooled and didn’t see the pass off??! 😂😂😂😂
Yea NFL is lame af these days
Its the new fake football they are selling now !
Yea, always has been
@@wilsonwallace8755How. You couldn't even hit the QB that late in the 90s. Ball is well out of his hands.
@@gabrielcarrasco9078 except from his point of view the ball wasn’t out of his hands.. he thought it was a pass play it’s not like he just decided to hit the QB as hard as he could for no reason.
I was watching the game live and even the camera was still on Goff. If you do a fake where you pretend to be passing, how is that flag on the defender? That’s like tackling a running back on play action, rpo, or read option..
Give him some credit, his tackling technique was excellent!
It's easy to tackle someone who ain't trying to get away lol
Ima savage tackler as well, so long as you're standing still with your back turned.
@@mikado412my nana could make that look like a good tackle.
Our coach has balls of steel and it shows in his play calling!
Yikes.
...and THAT'S why you're watching the Superbowl and not playing in it. There's a time and a place for everything.
Showed in NFC C game too. Balls so big he screwed yall.
We're all impressed in America you guy's won two playoff games since the Eisenhower administration very impressed
@@psilver063 ...yeah, that was tough.
Hats off to the center who's timing was impecable to get that ball their perfectly and at such a perfect angle and timing with the qbs movement and running backs position at the correct time. Wow! But the qb took a hit that coukd end a career unless hes been practicing how to take it without getting hos hip seperated
I like how Goff held his arms up like "why'd you hit me bro".
Anyone else get Little Giants vibes from this? "NO MERCY!!!!!" "No ball."
😂😂😂
Great pull.
Darnell Taylor flexing like he just did the game winning sack in the Superbowl while flags are flying gets me everytime.😅😂
That was so damn convincing you can hardly blame the defender 😂😂😂
then he celebrates and flexes like he won the SB!!
This is the seahawks superbowl.. 😂
I laughed at that part so hard.
So true...Today's player celebrates every down whether they are winning or getting embarrassed by other team...And someone goes unblocked and makes a tackle and they believe they just made the greatest tackle in NFL history!
😂😂😂👍🏻
He did win the SB if SB stands for Stupid Bowl. That was a great fake tbh.
"Foolin, number 16 offense. 10 yard penalty replay 1st down"
Good one!
That's got to be the BEST fake of ALL TIME!
Still can’t believe we didn’t win the NFC title
From his angle, there’s no way he could tell that
Really?
He was so keyed on Goff he did not see the shuttle pass. That's on 52 for thinking one dimensional. The shuttle pass was created for all the 52s playing football. It also tells me 52 would be a great sucker for a screen pass.
@@richardclifford003L take
@@richardclifford003it's one dimensional yet his job is to get to the qb. If youre gonna fake like you have the ball should be the opposite of sliding. The play is designed to trick people that comes with risk. Sometime the risk is getting leveled by a guy wise your size
@@OOL-UV2 still a penalty regardless. cant hit the QB that long after the balls out of his hands
Shouldn't he be tracking the ball though
I love how he celebrated after he tackled him. 🤣
Goff just like wtf are you serious??
You do a fake and are surprised when someone falls for it? Doesn’t make any sense lol
Well I'm really not sold this is a fake. He doesn't have any sort of footwork or anything. The only thing he kinda did is he didn't let his hands drop to his sides. As far as play fakes go, if this is one, it's as lazy as they get.
Mfw I get tackled after a trick play to make the defenders think I still have the ball
This is what a 0 awareness rating looks like 🤣🤣
I had Darell Taylor come in to the comedy club I work at on New Years and he was a really respectable guy. Very well mannered and even crazier to see him go crazy on field.
Ballhandling is a very underrated part of elite QB play. As my pops always says, "The hands are quicker than the eyes."
New rule: Defenders need to stop and ask the QB if he has the ball prior to hitting him.
😂😂
So true! So true!
Fuck that might as well stop beating around the bush. Defender must pull the towel out of the QBs pants without making contact.
😂@@zacharyradford5552
😂
Love how he's doing his victory dance with flags flying everywhere
Goff took that hit with a troll smile 😁
That was an excellent execution of the play to the point the defender didn't realize the QB didn't have the ball
For real!!!! I wasn't sure that's what happened. Gee whiz ty for clearing that up Poindexter
my god you're right!!!
🕵🏻Sherlock Holmes better watch out for his job - Randy Richardson is on the scene!!!
Has to be one of the funniest moments in NFL history.
And still choked
Yep he literally thought Goff had the ball even celebrated after the hit😂
That was a great fake, the guy thought he had the ball!!
That was crazy smooth!
Goff is so underrated
Now that he's winning he is, most Q.B's hear that when they play well.
But After Stafford took his Job & team to the Super Bowl it was crickets and the exact opposite.
The fact he celebrated. Also good on Goff. It doesnt seem like an American thing. But here in Australia the superstar of the team is expected to take massive hits constantly to make the play. If he’s not he’s playing bad.
52 honestly thought he had a sack! I love his "celebration" at the end of the hit.
Yeah we all saw the video 🤡
Somebody needs to give an Oscar to the quarterback he sold that pass.
Which is why it's supposed to be a non call. Play fakes aren't protected like a player minding his own business. Bad call
@@why-even-try-brotendoon QBs they are. Can’t hit him that late
And in return he got absolutely laid out.
Great strategy
@@why-even-try-brotendoQBs absolutely are protected. Unless he’s throwing a block or trying to make a tackle on an INT. You getting fooled that badly doesn’t give you the magic right to drill a guy well after he made the pass
@tylerbonsky5207 Not by rule, sooooo.....
He flexed too 😂
This is part of why I love the Campbell Lions. They’re so crafty and imaginative, they’ll find every trick in the book just to flex on you. It’s so fun to watch, especially compared to all the garbage football being played by most of the league right now
If you can fake that like a magician, you must expect to get hit every now and then.
He did. That why he flexed when the flag was thrown. He knew EXACTLY what he was doing and it was brilliant.
He did get Copperfielded - lol
@@LegendaryDorkKnighthe didnt flex he was asking for a flag lol
Yeah and the flag comes in there. You can also read the play too.
Some people play the game. Some people play the refs
taylor celebrating like he won the game
Damn! Can't even blame the guy for that penalty.
Looks like we need a rule change. If you fake having the ball and get tackled, you got what you wanted so no penalty.
Nah, D gotta pay attention
I know we have to protect qbs in the nfl, but it’s just a little weird to me that the qb can pretend to have the ball, but if someone tackles him it’s a penalty
Yeah it’s pretty ridiculous
That’s literally the whole point. You’re trying to either buy some time or draw a penalty. You can’t just go tackle someone who isn’t involved with the play anymore. This is the same as drawing the defense offsides using a hard count. Defender wasn’t paying attention and got tricked.
You must be a Seahawks fan and are pissed because Taylor got punked!😂😂😂😂👍👍👍👍👍
That is legendary. Like the Manning bootleg 😮
I watched this 5 times before I realized Goff didnt have the ball!
Me too so I guess you can’t blame him.
I can't blame Taylor.! That quarterback should have known he was gonna get hit as smooth as that play was.! 😂
Imagine being stunned that your fake worked
I think what makes this funkier is that 52 is the same guy that last year ran off the sideline to throw a block in the middle of a game last year.
This comes up on my feed every so often and every time it cracks me up.
GO LIONS!!
Dude had zero situational awareness right there, he really thought he had a sack 🤣🤣🤣
i hate when announcers say stuff like this. “that is ridiculous” mf you have a birds eye view of the entire play, he doesn’t. it was a fake, he got faked, and tackled the wrong mf. he wasn’t malicious, just mistaken.
Agree. Terrible job of commentating
Yeah, 100% dick move.
🤣🤣🤣....oooh shit! I would have just ejected myself out of the game if i was 52!
It's hilarious how 52 jumped up in celebration thinking he just got a sack
That’s tough. Even as a lions fan if you carry out a fake for that long what else is the defense supposed to do
15 yard penalty for lack awareness
He thought he was Lawerence Taylor for 10 seconds until he turned around 💯
For Christmas, Goff should send Taylor an empty football box.😂
I had to watch it a couple of times to figure out why it was roughing. Amazing fake.
I WANNA SEE 52S REACTION TO GETTING THE PENALTY CALLED ON HIM 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤷🏿♂️
No. 52 celebrating is just priceless. I don't know if he could be blamed, that fake was so good. I worry that Goff could get seriously injured on a hit like that.
Goff is seriously good AF with the pass/handoff fakes.
*what would have been even crazier is if Geoff got injured by that*
Bro, the purpose of this fake is make the defense think he still has the ball, and he got lit up for it. Every defense should put one on any QB that fakes like that, bet that'll slow the theatrics down lol
