Damn, that's really nice! I'm thinking about getting a Micro Mk.3 for myself. And this might have convinced me. This is legit the first Demo / Jam that sounds like an actual, fully produced song and not like some person noodeling around with some some semi-fitting sample packs.
Took me a while to figure it out too mate, just keep going and you'll get a feeling for the structure. A project contains all groups > a group contains 16 sounds > a sound can be an instrument or a sample or a chain of presets with effects etc. - All about how the software works and you will soon be able to build up a whole track!
Hey Jannik, ich habe alle Banks von Native Instruments, habe mir die große Version der Komplete Reihe geholt. Ich benutze oft die Body Mechanik Expansion, da sind coole Techno und Industrial Sounds enthalten.
Hey mate, if you want to make music live you better go for the MASCHINE+ which works without a pc or mac. In the video I use the normal MK3 version which controls the Maschine 2 Software on my PC
Hey man, you can import your own samples into Maschine, no problem at all. Just click where it says "File" or "Browse" or sth. like that in the upper left corner where you usually search for sounds. You can also drag and drop audio files into a sound slot in Maschine
There is a stand-alone version of maschine named maschine plus. I’m still considering selling my mk3 which I love as I really want to be away from the laptop.
For some live jams, Filters are your best friends haha. In my productions I try to separate my kick and my filtered kick to prevent my speakers from blowing up lol. I'm sorry I can't tell you the files or drumsynths I used back then. Never saved the project. But they were some samples I used from Alignments Sample Packs! You can check it out on bandcamp mate
@@MarkusWeigeltDE Thank you very much for information including tips and tricks. This is next level in use of Maschine. I don't know how advanced are other known standalone or hybrid (requiring computer like Push 2) grooveboxes from Roland, Akai, Ableton but users like you show something new what Maschine mk3 could do. Anyway, drum section can be done from scratch with (drum) synthesizers, effects, compressors and so on, which gives more freedom and flexibility but sometimes it is easier to take samples. Novation's Circuit Tracks for example have dedicated master LPF/HPF knob but you can't apply it for individual sound. By the way, sometimes when you don't record or don't have a plan and just improvise, you can get great track.
Hey mate, I just connected the mpk via usb to my computer - If you've done that you should check the preferences in the Maschine 2 software and activate it :) Let me know if you've managed to do it!
Hello. Could you help me 🙂 I want to purchase the maschine mk 3 from another person who bought it in 2018. Please tell me, do you know if I can install Komplete 13 select for free? At the time when this device was purchased, there was a Komplete 12 select. Now it is already outdated. I would like to understand if I have to pay extra for the software (Komplete select)
Hey man, greetings! At first: Nice to hear that you are also a Maschine user now! I purchased Komplete 13 Ultimate, it's awesome with Maschine! :) Purchases via second hand in terms of Native Instruments products are always transferable to another user account. So if you order a Maschine including the Maschine 2 Software from another private person you always have to insist that you also get a so called "Licence Transfer ID". This key is generated and transfered from the person who sales the product to the owner. The person who wants to sale the product can generate the key on the official Native Instruments Website. More information on how to generate those type of keys can be found on the official Native Instruments page under the tab "Licence Transfer". After generating those keys the new owner is now able to import such a Licence Transfer ID on his account and re-register the product until the person who generated the keys (the one who sales the product) cancels the transfers or the new owner imported the products to his account. Important to know: This process is product-related. Means that Komplete 12 Select needs a different licence-transfer-ID than the Maschine software. So second hand sales with Maschine including Komplete Select need a multiple registration of Licence-transfers: One for the Maschine 2 software and one for Komplete Select. If you already own Komplete 12 Select you have the chance to "update" your Komplete Select to a newer version (e.g. you own Komplete Select 12 and wanna get 13 - you can update to that for a few bucks I think). As far as I know you don't automatically own the latest Komplete Select if you buy a Maschine that has been bought at first with Komplete 12 Select. But the update to the newer version should be cheaper than buying it without any device. The important thing with discounts for updating or upgrading is that you already registered the products so NI can instantly check out which version you have and give you the discount.
@@MarkusWeigeltDE I’m worrying about this also because I plan on getting maschine plus soon, so selling my maschine mk3. I’m just wondering how it works with regards to all my expansions etc? Does the new guy get them all for free when I send the license transfer? I don’t want to loose all the expansions and it’s probably straight forward enough but it’s confusing. I’ll send the hardware, then send the license fee, but how will this affect my expansions etc and my native access?

Sehr gut. And nice trick or idea with using HPF for introducing kick drum into track. By the way, if not a problem, what expansion did you use?
