Terrific stuff man. I just picked up the T-Rex 1972 boxset that has The Slider in it and loads of BBC sessions, US radio stuff with Marc solo, the soundtrack to their movie of that year out for the first time uncut and a Wembley concert. They never did quite crack the US but should have. Man, if they had..maybe Marc would not have been driving in England that evening... And a DVD. Someone should do vids about those! ;) I saw Heaven And Hell, only time I saw Dio live. It was terrific. ALL of them were smiling and having a blast. Then I saw Sabbath on the End tour and man...they were the opposite. EVERYONE had a "wheres the cash?" expression. Was clear the stuff with Ronnie was passion and the Ozzy comeback was corporate and money-driven. They werent gonna play massive arenas if Tony Martin came back but personally....I woulda asked Glenn to come back. Do what he shoulda done in the 80s and been a clean, superstar leader of Sabbath. Ronnie would certainly have blesed that before them takin the Sharon dollar...
I had to sell a portion of my collection years ago so i know how you feel. 22 years later and i still haven't gotten everything back that i sold! Keep 'em coming man. Great vid.
some cool pick ups gary, like you about six years ago i had to sell my whole metal and hard rock cd collection that i regret to this day but needed the money stuff that is so hard to come by not cool, i agree with you about kiss crazy nights, i was a teen then ang it was my introduction to kiss so will always love it since own everything theyve done but do need that ikons cd it looks interesting
More great pick ups- so I have The Smiths singles; Pantera- GST; the Ozzy ‘Blizzard of Oz’ reissue; Iron Maiden ‘En Vivo!’; Control Denied; Phish ‘Hoist’ (I like em); Pink Floyd Dark Side of course; Mercyful Fate ‘9’ too.

Oh, and "I wanted the Island spine" - I had that too at one point. Those and old school Columbia (especially the red font) look so cool on shelfs.

I think you need to do an update of your whole collection soon!
I'd keep the original recording CDs, the remastered tend to be not as good in terms of quality of the sound.
