- Let's travel and eat, shall we? Actually, I visited India with my friends on Dec 29th and here's the VLOG of that trip. Two of my friends Anik & Mahadi and Cousin Bastob went to Kolkata via Bus but I had to catch a flight. So, after reaching Kolkata we met at the airport then we flew to Kochi together to
This is the first day of that trip and you will see different types of foods that I had that day. Started with buffet lunch at EBL Skylounge.
It's actually free for the EBL Platinum credit card holders and it actually maintained by Dhaka Westin.
I was blown away by the taste of Lamb Stew. It was amazingly tender and juicy. To be frank, it was the best lamb I have ever eaten in my life. Creamy sauce totally complemented the whole thing.
After having the lunch, I had to catch the flight and went to Kolkata airport. The most disappointing part was I couldn't buy any Mobile Sim Card from that airport. I talked with the tourist help center and they said that it's currently forbidden to sell sim to tourist. I don't really understand why? How would we communicate with our family if the government doesn't allow to sell Sim to a tourist? This is the first time I encounter such a problem.
And another tip that I wanna give is, don't ever exchange money inside the airport. They give a huge low rate. So I went to an ATM booth to get some cash and used the EBL Aqua Card. If you don't have one then I suggest you get it. It's really helpful if you are traveling.
After that, we tried the coffee at Cafecchino & Bar but that coffee was one of the worst coffee I ever tasted. It tasted like Nescafe's instant 3 in 1 coffee.
On the next flight from Kolkata to Kochi, I was so hungry and was surfing menu. I saw a vegetarian biriyani. After I ordered that inside Indigo plane, they gave me an instant biriyani bowl. That was something new to me. Because I had instant noodles in my life but instant biriyani was something new. That tasted average but I missed meat there. :P
And finally, we reached Kochi airport. We took a taxi to my friend's (Shawon) house. It was a long journey.
But the food cooked by Nowshin, wife of Shawon was amazing. That really fulfilled our hunger and we had to call it a day.
On the next vlog, I will try to show you around Kochi and Alleppey.
