The ending kills me inside. Why did Ryder and Smoke have to die? 😭 Atleast should have kept Ryder alive, knowing that those two funny characters from the beginning are gone, Carl and Sweet lost two of their childhood friends, and Grove Street had to move on. After all of those antics they got up too...
Ryder wasn't supposed to betray CJ initially, Ryder's Voice actor left during development of the game so they couldn't record any new voice lines. Rockstar quickly changed the story so that Ryder is involved with Big Smoke's antics which doesn't really make any sense. During The Green Sabre mission, CJ only mentions Big Smoke and not Ryder, when Ryder is at the scene also.
This came up randomly from a playlist in RUclips while I was working. I got massive goosebumps from the first few seconds alone. A massive flood of memories from a game i finished more than 15 times, flashing back in an instant. They just don't make games like that anymore.
Purest satisfaction I have gotten the first time I finished the game I played for 10 years ( I was a dumb kid when I started it and didn't care about the story, and finished the missions when I'm mature enough to appreciate the story ) the places shown in the credits gives you a reflection of all the things that CJ have went through to get to the place where he got. Of all the things you did while playing the game. All of the failed and success from many hours I'ved played. And all the lessons I learned while playing the game. all of the nostalgic memories from your childhood. And then Catalina called Carl while porking Claude...
Man, this game is so damn good, The story is so great with sympathetic character. So many iconic lines and missions. A map that you travel a lot throug during the story. Just and overall amazing game!

Since the games release I done it about 11 - 13 times. Thats how much I loved this game. I would play it for a few weeks, get bored and then move on. Sometime in the future, it pulled me back in and I would play it once more. When GTA 5 was announced and where it would take place, of course that sparked my love for the game again and I played it once more. About a month prior to the release of Gta 5, I played it yet again. I played it so much I got most of the dialog memorized... O_o
Apart from being one of the greatest games of all time, several activities in this game were way ahead of its time. Even GTA5 doesnt have some of those activities : (1) Eating/drinking in a any fast food or restaurant (2) Dating girls / making gfs (3) Working out at the gym

I always love this end credit scene the most out of any game, it perfectly represents CJ's journey, from the grove street in los santos, into the badlands with mount chiliad, into san fierro with the golden gate bridge (or gant bridge) then the unique san fierro buildings, into the desert with the airplane graveyard and all the desert stuff, into las venturas with all the beautiful shining lights and casinos, and the game spawns you right back in grove street, showing you that you ended where you started. this game was truly something out of this world for me when I was both a child and when I am an adult, and I don't care if my nostalgia blinds me, I still love this game.

***** Actually it is possible. GTA San Andreas takes place in1992 while GTA V takes place in 2013. Since CJ didn't die in 1992, he actually could have been in GTA V. CJ is mentioned in GTA V by The Families
i know they are different era's (gta san andreas being the 3D era, and gta v being in the HD era) but that doesn't mean there cannot be a crossover; there were characters in gta v that appeared in gta san andreas too (like Lazlow, he was also a radio host for GTA; SA)
Well... Vice City is connected to Gta IV and IV is connected to V - So it's quite possible they could add an alternative storyline. The hard part is to get all the voice actors back together - What i really miss is the old Vice City vibe and Tommy's Awesome voice acting :D

I always love this end credit scene the most out of any game, it perfectly represents CJ's journey, from the grove street in los santos, into the badlands with mount chiliad, into san fierro with the golden gate bridge (or gant bridge) then the unique san fierro buildings, into the desert with the airplane graveyard and all the desert stuff, into las venturas with all the beautiful shining lights and casinos, and the game spawns you right back in grove street, showing you that you ended where you started.
this game was truly something out of this world for me when I was both a child and when I am an adult, and I don't care if my nostalgia blinds me, I still love this game.

Actually it is possible. GTA San Andreas takes place in1992 while GTA V takes place in 2013. Since CJ didn't die in 1992, he actually could have been in GTA V.
CJ is mentioned in GTA V by The Families
i know they are different era's (gta san andreas being the 3D era, and gta v being in the HD era) but that doesn't mean there cannot be a crossover; there were characters in gta v that appeared in gta san andreas too (like Lazlow, he was also a radio host for GTA; SA)
But Rockstar said everyone from the 3D era is dead. But Lazlow is from the 3D era as a radio host and appears in GTA V
Well... Vice City is connected to Gta IV and IV is connected to V - So it's quite possible they could add an alternative storyline. The hard part is to get all the voice actors back together - What i really miss is the old Vice City vibe and Tommy's Awesome voice acting :D
