I wasn't expecting anything, but Bro surprised me with a brand new copy of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas which was released that day. I had been greatly anticipating it for a while, with a nice collection of Gamepro and Electronic Gaming Monthly magazines to read about it, but I wasn't expecting to experience it day one as I had experienced the previous two months later. My jaw dropped when I realized that we were about to play the latest Rockstar game. We hurried up and popped the disk into the PS2, and man.... I'll never ever forget hearing this beautiful theme for the first time. Just thinking about that day gives me goosebumps. 20 years later, and I still play GTA:SA from time to time. Happy 20th anniversary to GTA San Andreas! Even if GTA VI came out, San Andreas always been the best in the series. Probably the most time game I've ever spend. Trust me, the code makes this game so much fun! I'm grew up with Playstation 2 version and this game is apart of my childhood. The first game that taught me swearing.

As a kid, you play this as a sandbox.
As an adult, you play this game and appreciate the story you probably just whizzed past through when you were a kid. And it's so amazing.
Remember when we were going back home from school, put down our backpack and rushing immediately to our room, booting up the ps2, watching the screen cautiously then being relieved because the cd is still working, and play gta san andreas till mom told you to stop playing and eat your dinner, life is good right now but not as good as that time, damn i miss my childhood..
Currently me right now lol randomly seen it at Walmart for the 360 had no idea it was even on that console, been playing it non stop since the story is amazing and the game is very in depth for it's time, 5/5 well done rockstar

Not much of us even cared about the mature content and we didn't understand it if there was, and all we cared about as kids was type cheats and blow shit up like it's a sandbox.
