    Sadly, I ripped my pants doing parkour at 28:50 and it may be unrepairable but OH, THAT SUNSET 🌅!! Thanks for watching another live stream from a new area of Tokyo!

    Hey john, beautiful sunset. That new wide lens you got looks really good. You could see pretty far to the left and right. Also the waves on the water looked like I was right there. I think that was a really good investment. Also hope your pants didn't rip more on the way home. LMAO. Well happy 4th of july, hope your eating bar-be-cue. And yes I see your fanny pack. Lol. Keep safe happy holiday from Bethlehem pa.

      Sandy Schaffer I didn’t use the wide angle lens because I was using the special microphone that reduces the wind noise. I will use the lens in the next video.

    great point about the Olympics construction trumping the rebuilding of Tohoku. i was just admiring someone's posting of the current status of the Kesennuma port building and it's barely gotten the steel beams up. it's just wrong to focus on Olympics right now.

    Hi John. I know you've talked about this and can't do much ( or anything ). But this filming / recording back words of the phone on the screen side just keeps blowing my mind. Every time you switch from the back to the front I always expect the people, buildings and such to be on one side it's always on the opposite / wrong side. Do you have an update? Can people watching RUclips streamers write and complain to someone? You know to keep the fire lit so to say under there feet to work toward a fix patch..

    Definitely do something on the dockless rental bikes. I saw a bunch of these on Google Maps Live View north of Tsukiji Market - they were all over the sidewalk. I asked about them on Tokyo Cheapo, but no one knew anything about them at the time. They're here too, showed up 8-10 months ago on the university campus where I work. And people tend to leave them all over the place. My theory is they all end up at the lowest spots of campus - people rent them at the top of hills and leave them at the bottom... ^_^;; I suppose the people in charge move them back up to the tops at night...

    These videos are getting really lengthy. Don't have time to watch :(

    • @onlyinjapanGO
      @onlyinjapanGO  6 лет назад

      Sammy H. They’ve always been longer because 1) it takes viewers 15-30 minutes to get the notifications and I get more “oh I missed it” than “it’s too lengthy” so 2) I try to make sure the meat of the episode, the important parts are in the first 20 minutes or less :) and everything f else is a bonus - although ANYTHING can happen. If you read the comments, you can usually know where in the video something funny or out of he ordinary happened, like me ripping my shorts >_< (trying to sew them up to save them today). 3) many people just leave the episode running in the background. I think there are different kind of viewers for content- those that sit forward and watch at full attention (that is the content on the main channel) and those that sit back and let it play out (that’s the content here). I really appreciate the feedback Sammy and although this answer is long 😂 it should clear up questions other people have about this. -John
