It wasn't until I Listened to all sorts of music on XM radio that i understand there is a World of Awesome Music from People that you may know and Many that you've never heard of, And Wonder Why. Dang, how you land a gig like that? I had 100+ midi video game sound tracks written. Trashed them about 2 years ago. Got about a dozen unrecorded folk/country/blues/rock songs, tons of starters, and riffs. Would love to write for an artist.
people don’t know Darius was from a 90s alternative band hootie and the blowfish and as the 90s sound started to decline he turned to country. But country of the 80s and 90s was at a peak. Darius just rode the modern country train and his songs and style are not organic imho.
Though I recognize country western is already that to an extent among formerly adversarial caucasian sects. I should have been more positive with my initial response to encourage further melding with all ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, gender identities, economic classes etc.

I have met Darius Rucker and what a nice guy!!! I USED to work a certain major venue in a certain major city and he has the tour manager have the local crew get together after the show and comes out and personally thanks us for our work and talks with us........Great Guy!!!! One other artist/musician I had that with was Kenny Rodgers.
