Bang Chan pointed out that the secret (or key) was like the movie Kung Fu Panda, where in the end they found out the secret ingredient for the noodles was...nothing! Chan said even if the scroll is blank it still has meaning. Here the key is not something outside of yourself that you have to find or add. They said the "you" that they let go of in the song could be many things to different people. If you keep listening to their songs I think you will be satisfied with the amount of rap that they normally have, especially the earlier albums. "N/S" and "Maze of Memories" are all rap.

What did you think of Stray Kids latest video? Does it feel weird to see the group with Woojin? What’s your favorite Stray Kids mv? Let us know in the comments!
Thank you for the reaction! Please check out their previous songs such as Hellevator, Miroh, Side Effects, Victory Song, etc. They are more rap heavy if you are into rap.
Thanks for reacting to Stray Kids again! On all of their albums they have played with their genres and sounds a lot so you'll find a lot of different variety as you go. At their core though they are hip-hop and they have hip-hop songs on each album. I haven't seen anyone explain this to you yet so I'll give you some background on the group. Sorry if it's long-winded, but I feel it's vital information to give someone just getting into them. They quickly became my all-time favorite group. They debuted March, 25th 2018 so even though they have over 50 songs they haven't even been out for 2 years yet. JYP has been basically completely hands-off Stray Kids the entire time. Bang Chan is the leader and the founding member of the group. JYP trusted him because he had been training for 7 years, so when it was time for them to decide who to be in the new JYP group Bang Chan actually was given the ability to pick the members himself. He called them his Stray Kids because he gathered them up himself from the company and put them together. He also produces all of their tracks himself. The lyrics are written by all the members but mostly Bang Chan and the two main rappers Chang Bin and Ji Sung, the three of them make up their producing sub-unit 3racha. 3racha also has mixtapes that are straight fire, all it is is them rapping and hip-hop, mostly made pre-debut but they still drop songs sometimes. A lot of their older songs are more rap heavy, this was the first song they released that was mostly vocals, but it really fit with the theme and shut up the haters saying that Stray Kids can't sing, especially since they lost Woo Jin (their main vocal.) I would say their B-sides tend to be most hip-hop sounding, they tend to make their more pop-like songs their title tracks because those do better in the Korean music market and they are still trying to make a name for themselves there. Stray Kids is definitely more popular internationally than they are in Korea. Some really amazing rap songs by them would be Maze of Memories (there is no video but there is a lyric video, trust me when I say you guys HAVE to react to that song), My Side, Hellevator, Victory Song, Mirror (they also have a song called Miroh, not to be confusing, which is a kick-ass title track too), N/S, Question. I also highly recommend watching the JYP vs YG battle where JiSung and Chang Bin rap, they do part of the 3racha song Matryoshka (which is the Russian baby doll thing where you pick up the top one and there is another, smaller one underneath.) If you want more of their I guess mainstream songs there are My Pace, Miroh, Voices (my favorite SKZ song), I Am You, Grow Up, and honestly everything else haha. They usually throw a cutesy one on each album, like Awkward Silence and Get Cool, so they really do everything. Side Effects is a genre all on it's own, it's nothing like any of their other music and can be a shock when you first hear it, but trust me when I say regardless of whether you love it or hate it the first time you hear it, you will love it more with every listen. They also have a music video for almost every song on each album. Some of them are just fun 'street versions' where the boys just took a camera out on the streets and do silly things and someone edits it all together while the song plays. For the rest of their B-sides the videos are more simple, sometimes they just sit in a room and sing. Astronaut was one of those types of videos, which is why the video itself was a little simpler than Levanter. It would be really great to see you guys really get to know everyone, so if you do react to more I would suggest start at the beginning with their pre-debut songs Hellevator, Young Wings, Grrr (Beware), and then moving onto their official debut of District 9, My Pace, I Am You, Miroh, and then Side Effects. And watch their B-sides in whatever order you want. :) Felix is the guy that you like with the super deep voice, him and Bang Chan are from Australia. In their survival show both Felix and Minho (the guy with the beautiful Falsetto voice in the pre-chorus) were eliminated from the group, but at the end JYP brought them back. So Woo Jin leaving was especially shocking to us fans, STAYs, after everything they had been through to debut with all 9 of them. The members that are in this video: Bang Chan (English name Chris Bang)- leader, vocalist, rapper, dancer. He's the one in the salmon-pink shirt with the black choker and black hair, first one to sing in this song. From Australia, part of 3racha. See above for more info lol Lee Minho (stage name Lee Know)- Main dancer, vocalist, rapper. The one with the beautiful falsetto voice, wearing the dark tan half-sweater thing. He's also the one that has the scratch on his cheek and the stars falling in his eyes. Used to be a back-up dancer for BTS, was eliminated and brought back on the survival show. Chang Bin- Main rapper, sometimes vocalist, dancer. He's wearing dark pants and a loose light pink overshirt. He drops the sphere into the camera when he's rapping right before they do the mirror dancing. He's dancing on the left for that part, it's kind of hard to describe in this video. His voice is very distinct, it's a little deeper but not as deep as Felix, and it almost also has a rasp in it. Spits fire. He is part of 3racha so he helps write all the songs. Hyun Jin- Main dancer, rapper, sometimes vocalist. He has the dark hair with the deep center part, at the end of the video where they are all smiling in the field he's the one wearing the light pink shirt that has the frilled collar that looks kind of 17th century-ish. He's the other one dancing during the mirror part with Chang Bin. His rapping skills have improved dramatically since they debuted, getting help from Chang Bin and Ji Sung. He is probably the most expressive dancer out of them, known as the Visual of the group. Han Ji Sung (stage name Han)- Main rapper, Vocalist, dancer. He is the one wearing the white sweater with the one red sleeve, singing the second part of the chorus. You've commented on his rapping skills in both the other videos. He has a more tenor, higher tone than the others when he raps, but he goes soooo fast and uses so many different inflections and noises in his rapping (My Bias and personal favorite rapper in the group.) He doesn't rap at all in this song, which is a first, but only sings. He is often the one responsible for hitting the high notes in the group, like in Hellevator and this song, even though his main position is rapper. He's also a part of 3racha, and is a fantastic producer. He tends to connect the most with the more lyrical songs, so he has a lot of slower rap songs that he's written with emotional lyrics. Lee Felix- Main dancer, rapper, vocalist. I don't think I need to describe what he's wearing, he's the one with the deepest voice that you all love and point out everytime who does the little dance solo at the end with the light hair. He is also from Australia. He was eliminated on the show, the same as Minho, but JYP brought him back at the end. He got eliminated because he wasn't good enough at Korean yet, so he studied hard and is much better now. He is basically a scene stealer in every song and video, you just can't beat his voice lol. SeungMin- Main? Vocalist now I guess, dancer. Can rap. In this video he's the one who sings the start of the chorus, dancing in the middle in the light tan shirt and jeans, his hair is kind of long and floppy, and he has the scarf thing on his neck. He has a beautiful vocal tone and he is the biggest Day6 fanboy ever. Second youngest member in the group. Yang Jeong In (stage name I.N.)- Main? Vocalist, dancer, adorable when he raps. He's the one in the beginning with the beret on that you thought was part of his hair at first. When they debuted he was only 15 and still wearing braces. He is naturally very cute and well-loved by everyone. His singing has improved drastically since their survival show. *Oh god this was way longer than I meant for it to be lol but there you go, I hope this helps you get to know them better. Stays are a very passionate fan group so I look forward to seeing you fall down the amazing rabbit hole that is Stray Kids.
Thank you so much for all the info! We truly appreciate it. We know it took a while to write such a thorough message. Also thanks for not only naming all the members but describing them in the video so that we can put a name with a face! We have loved all the stuff we have heard from them so far and very impressed with the versatility that they have displayed in what we have reacted to so far. 💪🏾💅🤳
