- Donald Trump told conservative supporters last night that he was banned by "sleazebags" and "bad people'' from social media for his baseless claims about election fraud. Perhaps frustrated by his loss of a public platform, the former president has spoken to the journalist Michael Wolff for his latest book, Landslide - the final days of the Trump presidency. It is a surprising collaboration given Mr Wolff's previous Trump works. (Subscribe: bit.ly/C4_News_Subscribe)
Earlier, we spoke to Michael Wolff in his first UK interview on the book and I started by asking him why on earth Mr Trump allowed himself to be interviewed again in the wake of the capitol riots.

Trump even warned them several times, but, he knew that the plot was already hatched and there was no way to stop it. And besides, they knew that they have the whole of media and big tech behind them. jan six was just the icing on the cake to give cover to passing the dirty vote. But, sometimes if you repeat a scam too many times, it starts to become too obvious, and the illusion starts wearing thin. There were too many witnesses and cameras that day to pull of the lie forever. The hearings are proof of that. Newsmax have already gone on record as saying there was nothing wrong with the machines.
The attempted sting by Trump was put in place many, many months ago because he does know that just like in advertising that if you keep repeating a false claim long enough before the event then maintain that stance that some people will continue to believe you. Trump's claim to have won the election before most of the votes were counted then claiming there was fraud is no different to a NFL team owner claiming that his team had won the game at half time because they led and so the game must have been stolen from them.
There was a reason that Trump told his supporters to get out and vote early and in person and that the GOP controlled States delayed the counting of mail in ballots until all other ballots were counted. And that was so they could claim fraud.
I'm going to ask you a very simple question. On the date of the Presidential election there were also elections at State level, for the Senate in one third of the States and the whole of the House. If the Democrats were going to commit fraud then why did Republicans win Senate seats that they thought they would lose. Why did they hold on to States at State level in a year before the Census was held meaning they could redraw the Districts. If the Democrats were going to commit fraud they would have ensured they would win States like Maine where it was thought they could win along with a large number of States where they could redraw the Districts for their own benefit in 2022. The same machines were used in those counts as well, you can't get a machine to do two opposite things at the same time. It's like a truck allowing you to be in drive and reverse all at once. If you are going to go to the effort of committing fraud then you simply don't bother to only do half a job you go the whole way. If anything you would ensure you win at State level, in the Senate and The House because if you control those legislators then it doesn't matter if the President is from the other party because you can block all they want to do at every level.
@@stephenhodgson3506 I think they need to do a ballot audit and a machine audit of every state- yes- I think that many down slate races were affected-in AZ the senate seats will probably flip back to Trump. But the machines are trustworthy just isn't the case. They are PROVEN to have flipped votes. We can have the audits and see what is going on- any entity that claims no fraud right now are not telling the truth-- because they don't know for sure yet. And was it Newsmax as a company or a single reporter? From what I've seen we are talking hundreds of thousands if not millions of votes were faked, switched or deleted from Trump.
Also, the d's and rinos who were in cahoots with them didn't realize how big Trump's lead was going to be. That's why they had to all stop counting at once in those several swing states and calculate how many votes they needed- then they put in the algorithms and began to stuff the boxes after they kicked people out.
You sound pretty reasonable- they just need to do a forensic audit so we can see for sure. Even the d's were complaining about the machines a few years ago. I don't think many races have been honest in the last 15 years or so- probably not even for as long as we've been voting.

Why they don’t bring felony criminal charges against him can only be answered in the thought that maybe both sides are playing a game with all of us. At the very least they attempted to stand in the way of the democratic process of inaugurating a newly elected president. Yes we do very much have a system of checks and balances, but there are still places to be filled because it was partly dismantled. We do need the department of justice to have all their ducks in a row to indict the one who incited the insurrection, those who helped plan it, and those who paid for it. I’m sure it takes hours and hours to view all that video footage they have and copies of Twitter tweets.
