- It wasn’t pretty and had so much controversy involved, but the Dallas Stars are headed to the Western Conference Finals after Matt Duchene’s game winning goal in double overtime. Host Gavin Spittle and NHL Insider Sean Shapiro discuss the goaltender interference and how bad of a call this was. The guys give props to Pete DeBoer for his coaching and changing up the lines to mix it up in the third period. Then they go through a ton of Twitter questions and comments from listeners.

This team is truly special. Great team win and keep this thing rolling. Go STARS 🌟
And now both Dallas teams at the AAC I'm moving on to the Western Conference Finals
Go Stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Amazing defense by the stars in this series to hold that team to 1 goal in multiple games was incredible to watch
As an Avs fan that's probably the best defense consistently through a series I've seen a team play against us. I honestly don't know how you score against it.
Can't believe i've been a Stars fan so long and just now finding this! Go Stars and will be tuning in going forward!
Best Stars podcast around, go Stars!
Other series going to 7 stars will get some good rest,
Ya, 6th defenseman wasn't available until they lost in the AHL.
Miro and Tanev were the difference makers in the Avalanche series. Now we rest and if Roope Hintz comes back 100 percent, WATCH OUT!
What a great game and love the podcast.
Just glad “these go to eleven!”
Not to mention he wears that C on his chest for the Texas Stars.
Stars - Oilers Depth of the Stars should win out but McDavid / Draisaitl won't let it be easy
Sean at 24:45 says "those officials who made that no-goal call will NOT go on to the next round." Why? That doesn't make sense to me, the NHL corroborated it on the review, right?
The NHL/Toronto owns that terrible call, not the refs anymore. The refs sucked yesterday, but they still could've overturned it if Toronto wasn't so incompetent.
The call was no goal on the ice immediately. They don't to 'show up' the ref's. It was a terrible call. That ref team isn't needed any longer. I agree Toronto was wrong too.
There’s only 2 explosions.
1. The NHL didn’t want the series to end on a review
2. It was Kale Makar that pushed Duchene into the goalie and Kale Makar can’t do anything wrong he’s the NHL’s little darling
