Minelab Equinox 800 Multi & Single Frequency Reveal Target ID!

- In this video I use the Minelab Equinox 800 and switch between multi and single frequency to determine the identity of targets.
I am in no way trying to say one frequency is better than another. But instead, they compliment each other. Where one frequency fails, another will reveal its fault.
I also find a gold ring, silver dime, wheat pennies and more!

Very informative. I like the frequency comparisons, digging the suspect signals and showing us the results, and appreciate you letting us hear the tones; it’s important. I learned something tonight. Thank you. Subscribed.
Very nice finds and interesting seeing the differences between multi frequencies vs single frequency.
Hey thank you Mike!👍🏼🍻😊. Happy hunting!
My nox is coming in the mail Wednesday! I am binge watching all these again. Huge take away I have from watching these and using the Vanquish. If i could swap to single frequency in the vanquish I would dig less garbage. and the multi being solid now makes sense! thank you!
Anything that hits 39 or 40 in multi frequency is either going to be gigantic or trash. One thing I like to do is pump the coil, if you pump the coil over iron usually the numbers will either spike or dip
Midwest treasure, that is such an awesome tip! I’ll try that, thank you👍🏼. Happy hunting!!
Kinda makes a strong case that detecting in single is smarter and multi favors Junk like I suspected
Thanks for commenting!! Oh I totally agree!
Happy hunting friend🍻
Very interesting! I’m going to have to give this a try. What were your recovery and ferrous settings? Nice finds!
My bad, I meant to say recovery and iron bias settings.
Hey thank you so much! So my recovery speed is 2, and no discrimination no iron bias at all👍🏼😊 I hunt with iron volume on to hear any intermingled iron signals, this helps me see whether it’s good or ferrous more easily.
Thanks so much again and happy hunting🍻
Awesome information on single frequency bro, have you done more testing on the 4khz, take care out there and a happy hunting.
Thank you so much Rima!🙏🏼😊. Yes I did a video on the new 4kHz update with tons of live digs! Happy hunting‼️👍🏼
Excellent and very useful video. your thoughts on 11" vs 15" coil please
Excellent. Should you also be checking with all metal mode as well?
Hey! Thank you for commenting🙏🏼Sorry for the delay! I’ve been away from RUclips for a bit. If by all metal you mean nothing discriminated, no iron bias, and iron audio on, yes that’s how I always hunt👌🏼👍🏼 Just turn your iron volume down so it’s audible but not a distraction, just enough so you can hear it so you can catch those tricky nail targets😅
Happy hunting!🍻
@@NwdetectorsOkay thanks!
Also why park 2, as opposed to field 2 or park 1? Thanks
Mate 👍👍
Thanks PeteK!! Stay cool over there and happy hunting🍻👍🏼😊
I’m taking all of this mafia to court
Why do you use 15 instead of 5 when not in multi?
In his blogpost about this strategy he says that 5 is usually a bit too prone to EMI (electromagnetic interference) from nearby things like power lines
What did the silver dime come up as?
Wheat State, it was super jumpy because of there was trash in the hole, a grommet and a nail, but I still got consistent numbers in the high 20’s, with 26-27 coming up a lot😊. Thank you so much for watching and happy hunting!!🍻
