Originally, I think this mochi ice cream will taste good, but when I bought it, maybe there was a problem with the distribution process. I heard that melting and freezing again makes the texture strange. TT.. I saw other RUclipsr eating, but it felt different from what I ate.
@@ZOEYASMR Yeah that happens, I bought the exact same one and I think something happened during the shipment process because the mochi dough was flaky and falling apart - nothing like how it is supposed to taste. You probably got some bad ones.
I just ate some of the green tea flavor yesterday. Those have to be my favorite so far. I can only find the 6 packs. You did great sis! I'll see if I can do it soon!

Oh I totally know how you feel! A few days back I bought mochi like that (kinda expensive too) and it looked and tasted like rubber, biting the “chewy” part made squeaking sounds, it wasn’t soft or chewy at all, it just broke off 😤
There was ovbi gonna smt wrong like a freeze shock or smt 5his normal not like this but when it goes or sends to go to ur house there could be something wrong it doesnt always come out perfect..

Usually when I get this brand I get the double chocolate flavor (which is good but very sweet) and they never have a rubber sound when I eat it and it’s never hard at all. I work at Costco doing free samples. I did these exact brand ice cream mochi’s and people who tried them did not like them at all. I thought they were ok but too much powder. Lol
I had mochi for the first time a few days ago. I had one green tea flavoured, and one japanese cherry flavoured one. I were really good, but it felt like I was eating flour dough :'(
When I buy these, I let them soften a little first, I don't know exactly how long to leave it out, but just keep an eye on it and it should feel like regular ice cream mochi (with softer ice cream inside).

One way to not have the rubbery and hard Mochi is to let it sit out for couple minutes then it will be squishy and soft .
