Just want to say that this case is the best! I wrapped my raft on a rock 2 weeks ago while white water rafting. It took us an hour to get the raft freed with a Z-drag. This case with my mini 4 pro was in the water rushing into the raft the whole time. I was getting ready to write off my drone, but the drone was BONE DRY in the case! It held pressurized water out for an hour. My dry bags on the other hand didn't fair as well. Thank you so much for recommending this case.

Yeah Russ, I have to agree with you about these cases. I have two myself for my air 2, and air 2 S. They are great cases. I have the big box that holds like seven batteries if not more.
The MC Cases are also great, I think that's what they're called but just a little bit too expensive for me.
I can fit everything I have for my drones in these cases, and I'm such a nerd that I have just about all the accessories there is for my drones except two things. The dropping thing and the 360 camera accessory and the propeller guards. Make that 3 accessories I don't have.

Hi Russ. Good choice, it's the case I already have for my DJI Mini 3 Pro and now the new model for my DJI Mini 4 Pro. Symik is a terrific company that responds to inquiries. The build is shockingly good. The locking latches are brilliantly designed and don't hurt your fingers. (Have you ever opened/closed latches that feel like they're going to break your fingers? Yikes). And a great review from Russ, as we all expect.
I really like these cases too. Got one for my Mini 2, and now have a Mini 4 Pro coming. Of course I ordered one for that along with some ND Filters. Having a good holiday this year hope you are too.
Russ just got my Symik case in yesterday. Got all my gear in it and it is a super case. See what you mean about the handle. Had my wife grab the handle and she laughed at you and me but said it has a nice touch. I will definitely recommend it to my drone buddies. And Happy New Year!!

looks like the interior is similar to the former and that's fantastic. I love being able to put my Ipad in space below the pullout and still have space for cords, etc .

It's a great case. I got mine yesterday for my mini pro 4 I totally forgot about the cutout for the propellers on top until I watched your video. As you said it's a wonderful quality case I think maybe the only issue I might have with it is I use freewell filters so I have to use the larger storage space for the filters instead of the one provided under the RC controller location. But other than that it is so far a absolutely great case.
I have one, love it. Very handy and it keeps my 3 batteries, charger, controller, and drone safe and secure. I also have extra space for spare props, cords, and my drone license. :)

I can’t believe this case is even $50 I just got mines in the mail today and the product is definitely $1k+ material I wouldn’t be surprised if they go up on the price soon
I've had my mini 4 pro for 3 days now. As a new pilot with a few hours flying experience, packing and unpacking the drone in the DJI bag is by far my most uncomfortable moment when I go out for a flight.
My hard case will be here in 2 days , and I'm sure it will help me unpack more quickly and easily on top of the protection it provides.

OK Russ, I got the Symik case and it is awesome. I have the M4P, controller, and batteries in their spots. I have all of the spare props and 2 packages of Master Airscrew props and small tools in the large space at the top. Underneath I have my landing pad, the case shoulder strap, and my lanyard for the controller.
This is a very nice case. It is very solid and I like the seal in the top of the case. It is remarkably small for what it holds, which is nice while traveling, and you're right, the handle grip is nice.
When I was looking for cases, I saw this case on Amazon. But the red flat foam looked a bit gimmicky. Without this review, I would have never looked at this case. Keep 'em coming brother!
I bought the Mini case from your Black Friday buying guide. I liked it so much I just got the one for the Mavic 3 Pro. Part of me wishes they sold just the form inserts, because I have a ton of Apache cases and I'd love to use the different colors to help organize these among my photo hear and other tools. But their cases are really well made, especially the latches, which reminded me of Nanuk's latches.
I also bought the two charging devices. Very impressed with both!

I do trust your recommendations. Every one I have followed has been spot on. I have been using Nanuk cases for my 2 Mavic Minis and my M2P. When I went to look at it for my MM4P, it was almost $200. I like the dual layer of this case, something the other ones I have don't have. Its due tomorrow, I'll let you know how I like it.

In other cases (Skyreat, Startrc), the batteries are shown to be stored OUTSIDE the battery charger. Can leaving them IN the charger be an issue? Thank you!
I have a lanyard attached to my controller. Will the cutout work with it attached? Two knobs stick out from the bottom of the controller & they're a pain to remove every time.

Where do you store the Symik charger
I modified my case by cutting two 3/4" x 3/4" holes in the FOAM (beneath the red plastic) directly inline with the two lanyard locations on my controller. Completely out of sight.This allows the rings to remain attached to the controller without having to remove them when storing. My Symik for my Mavic Air 2 has a place to insert a "name & address" label. Wish they would have included it on this model. GREAT CASE!
I'm an avid collector of bags, cases, and all sorts of storage solutions. As much as I'd love to get this case, I think it would never be used, and I'd get caught one night just carressing it whilst watching "Real Housewives of....". My M4P and Mavic 3 Pro both fit in a LowePro camera backpack, along with all the required accessories and can be picked up and transported with me easily. The Mavic [bought used but never flown] came with a nice case which hasn't moved from its current location in a spare room since acquisition.
I bought a Symik case from Amazon when the mini 3 pro was released, and really wanted to like it, but ended up returning it due to the smell. It was pretty bad. I did leave the case out open a couple days to ventilate, but closing in back up and reopening again it still smelled very bad. Not sure if they’ve changed their manufacturing process recently to alleviate this issue but they should definitely consider using less chemicals, or at a minimum pre-ventilate them before packaging and shipment. I moved on to the Nanuk from there and love them, but as you mentioned they are very expensive.

I have been holding out buying a new case until I bought a new drone... but maybe if I won a case this cool I might have to buy a new drone faster...
As a motorcyclist, space is at a premium for me and I have yet to find a hard case that is suitable w/re the space it takes up. The DJI soft case packs the components very efficiently and I'm able to make that work, but positioning all the components flat like in the Symik is very inefficient use of space. I'd be interested in a case that is only slightly larger than the DJI bag (it would need to be with the hard shell and inner foam, but the Symik is probably 2x the size. It's just not practical for me.
