Back in the 1860's London had a Gas Lighting system where they'd use gas to just burn lamps for light instead of candles, so its a nice touch that this world has it! Most people don't even know it used to be like that, let alone it being in a anime!
You know, I really dreamed of my school being attacked by terroists and then I escape and save everyone when I was in middle school! So when the terroist came in in last episode, I just thought 'Oh, really? Is this I was always dreaming of?' And then Cid said what I was thinking at the beginning of this episode!🤣 That's amazing that they really know what I want to see🤣
I always dreamed about one day driver falls asleep while driving and I heroically gets into driver's seat and somehow will drive the bus to school on the same gear driver put it since I didn't know how gear system works at that time
I can absolutely not wait to see the rest of ya'll's reactions to this season. Folks talk about the ridiculousness and silly stuff if Eminence, but I am 101% on board for the actual story. I love the drama of this series.
It's a great mix of pure comedy and serious plot . And even within the comedy , they definitively aim at showing that Cid got issues , not just as a chunibyo/delusional guy , but as someone with socopathic tendencies , and successfully do so .
@@ZarathosDaimaoh "Issues"? That's the fun part bro. He's not an idealistic worthless power-of-friendship shounen character, he's the unapologetic embodiment of a power fantasy. Cid is basically a perfect entity. He doesn't have conflicting morals, he doesn't have struggles with 'inner demons', he knows exactly what he wants and he does not compromise whatsoever. That kind of literary and thematic purity is hard to find in characters nowadays.

Cid, a character that died for the mc's character development isn't a background character but a side character 🤣 I hope Sherry won't die when she makes her revenge in the future 😢
You know when Shadow said to Lutheran, "You sliced her open from her extremities to her core and ended with her heart, is that right?" I think Lutheran realised that shadow is indeed Cid Kagenou because he only told Cid about him killing Sherry's mom and from Lutheran's perspective Cid was killed.
What's ironic is that this could be seen as one of Cid's genuinely "caring" actions by not telling her the truth as it would ruin her, but it would be taken the wrong way by her as she now wants revenge against him
But did she see him though...? The way the old man telling the past event plus how 'sneaky' sherry though she is sound like sherry has sort of short tunnel of focus on her surrounding, so maybe she didn't notice shadow? That what i though so do correct me if I'm wrong 😅

As an example , remember when Claire was prevented from reaching Cid , when he was arrested ? The way they clearly hype her , and show her to be strong , she'd normally just blow past all of that background mob characters gallery , except for Rose
I don't think shadow is a caring guy. He probably wanted a nemesis, that's all. And wanted to tell that cool line "you better off not knowing." He only cares about being the eminence in shadow, everything else is either irrelevant, i-slightly-care-but-i-can-still-do-without-it or i-can-sacrifice-it-if-necessary-with-some-emotions-and-forget-about-it-5-minutes-later.
Ngl I'm tired of people branding this show "king of bad Isekai" because it doing disservice to the show. It's just plain good. It knows how to use the "bad tropes" of Isekai and turned up into max. Anime RUclipsrs ain't helping either as they title their videos like that in their reviews of this show. People just take it on face value and have a bad impression of the show w/o checking it out.

Most of the people , that think that really took the show seriously , and believe that the show is actually serious (aside from the cult's plot and the lore) are misguided . it's cringe on purpose , it's "Edgelord power fantasy the anime" . And if they need further proof of that , all they need to do is check the manga version , and the light novel version . Each of the three mediums hammer the point in different ways
Agreed, you can't fucking make something good without effort or brilliant ideas, shut the f up idiots there is no way you can make something good not on purpose, you are insulting all the people worked for this anime. This is anime is very good (in my opinion) and unlike the usual mass produced/12 episode/poorly adapted from the source material/milk cow anime, this show had real passion and effort put into it (in my personal opinion). I read light novels and this one is one of the best anime adaptations i had even seen. In fact, it's actually better than the ln since it (almost) has everything in it but with cool fight scenes, and we focus less on cid's inner thoughts and since he is a psychopath and a (sometimes) dense idiot that's actually something good.
you still don't know what a bad isekai is do you? being bad on prosper also means being "bad" objectively it's bad there is no seriousness in the show, it's pure fun that's what bad isekai's are. If you don't know konosuba is also labeled "bad isekai" but do you thing the community hates it? bad isekai is just a label and anime watchers know that!
When I watched episode 9, I was like, "I think Sherry's going to train to have her revenge." I'm only at episode 15, I still don't know what will happen next.
I also love how you didnt realize her look when she said "it's a secret" her eyes blacked out cause she is lost and only want revenge. My guess I never read anything
That's right. Sherry will try to revenge. She will acquire a huge magical power. Eventually, she will defeat Shadow and the shadow garden. Then when she kills Shadow, he reveals his true self to her and shows her that he is Cid, not Shadow so she cries for the 3rd time and then commits suicide.
Spoiler There's literally no one in the story that can beat cid. Currently he is already the strongest character in the series and his power, mana keeps growing as he ages. Currently in terms of where the anime is at he is equal to Diabolos who is the strongest person in this world. He later surpasses Diabolos quite early without even getting to confront Diabolos 😂. He fights a demon king who rules over an alternate reality and he kills that demon king with one attack. A couple years prior to him joining the academy he fought the most dragon and beat it but barely but this was several years ago and that most dragon is a demon king level monster and the dragon the destroyed the old capital of Midgar which is no cids base of operations. The mist dragon guards the mountain where cids base is located. The dragon is so power it nearly killed all the 7 shadows of the shadow garden until cid stepped in to fight him.
This series is like the idea of… *What if a chunnibyou got all the power he needs to make his fantasies come true in another world?* But idk the reason why most isekais have OP mc. Maybe because they assume isekai audience thinks “real life sucks, power fantasy in fiction better”

Agreed, you can't fucking make something good without effort or brilliant ideas, shut the f up idiots there is no way you can make something good not on purpose, you are insulting all the people worked for this anime. This is anime is very good (in my opinion) and unlike the usual mass produced/12 episode/poorly adapted from the source material/milk cow anime, this show had real passion and effort put into it (in my personal opinion). I read light novels and this one is one of the best anime adaptations i had even seen. In fact, it's actually better than the ln since it (almost) has everything in it but with cool fight scenes, and we focus less on cid's inner thoughts and since he is a psychopath and a (sometimes) dense idiot that's actually something good.
you still don't know what a bad isekai is do you? being bad on prosper also means being "bad" objectively it's bad there is no seriousness in the show, it's pure fun that's what bad isekai's are. If you don't know konosuba is also labeled "bad isekai" but do you thing the community hates it? bad isekai is just a label and anime watchers know that!

There's literally no one in the story that can beat cid. Currently he is already the strongest character in the series and his power, mana keeps growing as he ages. Currently in terms of where the anime is at he is equal to Diabolos who is the strongest person in this world. He later surpasses Diabolos quite early without even getting to confront Diabolos 😂. He fights a demon king who rules over an alternate reality and he kills that demon king with one attack. A couple years prior to him joining the academy he fought the most dragon and beat it but barely but this was several years ago and that most dragon is a demon king level monster and the dragon the destroyed the old capital of Midgar which is no cids base of operations. The mist dragon guards the mountain where cids base is located. The dragon is so power it nearly killed all the 7 shadows of the shadow garden until cid stepped in to fight him.
In the game story cid can't kill the mist dragon
