If I remember it correctly, this is no longer part of the competition. This is her "exit" or farewell performance, that's why it was ok for her to let the audience sing that certain part ... altho it's not necessary, she'd chosen to sing in chinese (not her native tongue) to show her gratitude for the chance of being part of the show ... she's really a true artist/performance. 💙

Kz is singing in Mandarin (Chinese) she is not a native speaker so its really challenging . The mere fact madarin is one of the difficult languages
That foreign language she's singing & rapping in is Chinese, not her native tongue. She just learned it on her stay during the show. This particular song in case people didn't know is from the Fast & The Furious Soundtrack. Kz, with her unbelievable talent, incorporated the Chinese language into the performance, because it was her FINAL performance before she was eliminated from the competition. To her, it was saying Thank You, and to say See You Again to the beautiful people of China who supported her during her stay there.

FYI, this is her finale performance because she got eliminated after her performance of Royals. That's why she's pointing the microphone to the audience. Even though she was eliminated she still gives an amazing performance and showing her gratitude by rapping and singing in chinese/mandarin.

KZ got eliminated after her performance of Royals. This is her farewell song in the competition so what you thought was a risk when she encouraged the audience to sing along, that was just her way of saying thank you to the Chinese people and for being invited into the show. She only expected to perform one song "Rolling In The Deep" but she won that round and so she moved on to the next round etc... Her very last appearance in the show was her "Bang Bang" performance with Jessie J and Coco Lee. Jessie J was crowned the winner of Singer 2018. Their performance of "Bang Bang" is a must see. Cheers.

She was fully convincing in "MANDARIN" Chinese, a language she was coached a short time before performance, but she proved to always be her best. She is always best at all her covers. She has singles and a movie, already, too.

Exactly. That Emotion she relayed really hit you hard. The reason I always included it in my request from the Singer 2018. That was the best after Rolling in the Deep than Royal. A fast learner in Mandarin only less than a week and sang smoothly and that texture in her voice. Love your reaction. @@its_casza3342 , that’s our KZ 👍. She’s from the South of the Philippines and she speaks same language like me Bisayan Cebuano. Therefore we speaks 3 languages. By the way there are many good singers in the Philippines. For a variety please try Bogoy Drilon with his striking reggae style and his voice quality. I’m particular with the texture. You’ll get additional followers who are crazy with Bogoy. Good luck.

Fun facts: KZ prepared a different song for this episode and the arrangement for that song came from the Philippines. Hunan Broadcasting System (HBS) decided last minute to change the song because they felt the song is not well known in China and asked KZ to perform 'Say Something' instead since this is one of the songs she performed during the audition that really left a mark on them. We had to fly Macoy (her guitarist) last minute for this and she only got to rehearse this song on the day of the recording but still delivered an awesome performance."

Now, on this performance "See you again", its her farewell song (since everyone who gets eliminated has a farewell song) hence she does let the audience sing. She was graded last on her performance "Royal" (crazy but it is what it is). KZ sang Mandarin to pay tribute for the Chinese community and giving honour and gratitude aa well to represent Ph 🇵🇭 in the competition
There's a wildcard for those eliminated once to fill the spot to compete for the title but unfortunately, KZ didnt make it since she sang "Anak" (Child) nd its sang into our native language Filipino (the song also is known and being translated into different language and alot did a cover for that as well)

It was a farewell performance because she was eliminated.FYI, English is the medium of instruction in the Philippines.It’s the second language next to Tagalog which is the national language.She incorporated Chinese with English.

Addt'l info.. KZ was not in episode 11 coz it's final elimination round for those who are left in the competition and she came back on episode 12, the breakout rounds for those like her who got eliminated and had a chance again to compete where she sang Anak in her native language coz she's from the Philippines and join Jessie J. And Coco Lee on Jessie J's last performance where she won in the competition. Jessie J invited KZ to perform with her and with Coco Lee as well.

We have lots and lots of Filipino singing talents but the organizers picked KZ may be because they have followed her and seen her performances.Even Jessie J expect that she was in the top level of the competition.It shows when even if she was eliminated,they included her in the finale of the show with Coco in Bang Bang performance.At that time she was already doing her thing in the Philippines when they called her to China.She is an amazing talent and we love her.thank you for that excellent reaction!
