Good morning! Thank you for the lovely quart-sized shrubs. I purchased 3 Perfecto Mundos and 2 Blue Chiffon Rose of Sharon. They arrived in great condition thanks to your careful packaging. While the shrubs are the tiniest ones I've ever planted, the roots are amazingly healthy and filled the pot. Advantages I see in quart sized are smaller holes ;-) and healthier plants in the long run. Hint for those of you considering ordering - each sturdy box holds 4 plants so order 4, 8, 12.... I ordered 5 and wasted three slots in the boxes! Shipping costs were still very reasonable.
I have 2 climbing hydrangeas' I have had for about 12 years now and they are so easy to keep under control. Just trim them up after they bloom. Don't let the size scare you. It's all up to you on the size you want. I keep mine about 8 feet tall.
Jenny, I planted two tiny wine nine bark plants in my garden a year and a half ago now. They are doing great in full sun, zone 7 b, Statesville NC. Also planted a proud berry coral berry last fall in full sun. That is also doing great. It has pink berries the size of marbles all over it. Give these plants a chance to wow you. You will love them. Just make sure they have the moisture they need.
So Jelly right now, I just talked to Atlas greenhouse yesterday getting quote for our new houses. Y'all are waaaaaay ahead of me! Congratulations on an awesome setup!! I was in Concord NC this past weekend, but knew y'all were closed on Sunday. I'll get up there to visit one day hopefully, Happy Gardening !
Good Morning Jenny and Jerry! Loved seeing your growing and shipping greenhouse, and all the plans starting to come along nicely. Thanks for all you do to bring us all the PW plants, and your knowledge of each one. Have a wonderful day, and God Bless!
Amazing progress! Rosie looks adorable on her throne. Thank you for sharing what the quart looks like and comparing it to the annual size. That really helped me understand.
Congrats on getting the new production area all poured and ready for the gravel!!! That is so cool and I am so happy for you that you can expand your business. It's always exciting to see a small business growing! The shrubs look great. I am wondering if you could explain how long it would be, approx, for it to reach mature size? For me, that would help in determining placement issues in the garden beds. Thanks so much for all you are doing for us. It is amazing how you have been able to get all of this done in such a short period of time!
I planted my Fire Light Tidbit from y’all and it’s so cute. And thank you for the little “Hey friends” sticker … love it!! Looking forward to the presale of annuals next year because I’m here in N. Texas and we warm up quickly in the spring 🦋
Jenny, I grow Proud Berry coral berry in zone 7a in Middle TN and it does just fine. It gets a little shade from a tree in mid day and that is it. Morning and afternoon is in full sun. It’s beautiful! Those berries look like pink gum balls!
I live in southern Ca. In the higher elevations. In the winter it gets to 10 degrees and in the summer it gets 100. I have nine bark growing in a pot full sun. It’s huge growing amazing the last 3 years!
Thanks for taking us along on all your exciting projects! I love that you're selling the quart size containers -putting plants in the ground at this size is healthier for them in the long run - you sacrifice instant gratification, but you'll end up with a healthier root system sooner♥
Good Morning Jenny and Jerry. Thanks for sharing with us the production and shipping for the new mail order. God is truly blessing you. I've only been shopping from you for the past three years and it amazes me how much you have accomplished in the time. May he continue to bless you and yours.
I'm in Northern CA 9b and have a Tiny Wine Nine Bark in sun from 11am to 3pm in the summer. The foliage looks perfect, haven't seen blooms on it but I just planted it as a tiny quart last fall. It's probably 1.5'x 2', it gets regular water.
I received my first order and all the plants arrived beautifully and are tucked into their new garden beds. I can’t wait to see the area develop next growing season in Northern Alabama! Thank you!
I am so excited for quart sized plants! Just wondering how your Green Giants are doing? I am hoping to plant one in the spring for privacy. Already have a spruce and need something else. (5b).
Rosie is gorgeous...man y'all surround yerselves with some real cuties. I love Dobermans 🖤 and Rosie SHOULD be snippy with strangers... she needs to watch out for her peeps❤
Jenny, I was watching this video and highlighted the Ninebark shrub. I live in Tennessee, zone 7a and have 3 Ninebarks. They have been in the garden for 3 years and look beautiful. They are in full sun. You should try them.
Mornin’, Jenny. ☕️ I’m one of the folks who ordered the Proud Berry to see how it does. I’m In metro Atlanta (7b) and will try it in a north facing, morning sun/dappled shade spot. I do have a wild coral berry that has been growing well in my creek bottom for years, which influenced me to give the PB a try. 🤞 Thanks for offering online sales - I haven’t been able to find them anywhere locally.
I think it might depend on which ninebark you get on the hardiness zones. I have a friend who lives in Chesnee SC and grows Diablo, but it is hardy to zone 8. Others are only to ZONE 7.
Would they be okay to plant right in the ground or would it be better to pot up and get some size on them first? I know things like hydrangeas can me a tasty treat for deer.
Good morning Jenny and Jerry! Can you tell me approximate shipping cost per quart container to central Pa? I see that the proudberry coralberry is sold out. Will you have any more available to ship in time to plant before the ground freezes? Your selection of shrubs is so beautiful and I love the smaller, easier to dig holes, size. Thank you!
Hi my friend! Zone 7 is working for me on the Ninebarks. I have 2 PW ‘Ginger Wine’ Ninebarks that I planted from quart containers 2 years ago that are now 4+ feet tall and starting to get some width to them. They have not scorched in full sun (but they are on irrigation).
Dear Jenny I have been to multiple stores looking for a pre-emergent and no one has it. Where did you get yours for your garden bed this year? I Really need some. Thank you in advance.
Hi I. Live. In Ontario Canada,,I have a question about hydrangeas..my daughter wants. me to split one or two to transplant at her house woul survive if we do it now in October..Please reply Thank you..
Question here- would u or could u plant a climbing hydrangea at the top of a slope? So it grows down? I’m in zone 8a GA- I have an awful sloping hill back yard!
Will you be selling sweet olive shrubs? I’ve heard you speak about it but I don’t see it on the website. My neighbor’s is blooming right now and the scent is just the most delicious plant scent I’ve ever sniffed!
We certainly are open to it; we just have to find them in quart size containers. We have 3, 5, 7, & 15 gallons at the nursery, and those would not be fun to ship 😉
Oh I know you only do quarts. I’m sure I can find bigger ones here in Houston, I don’t think I can wait for it to grow big enough from a quart size anyway. Love you guys!
I do love knowing good people THRIVE ❤
Thank you❣️
Good morning, Jenny☕️ All is looking so great! Excited for the website shopping. Have a Blessed Day 😊🐶
The production area is looking awesome congratulations on your business expansion

I did the same and now that I know how they’re boxes work, I’ll be sure to order in 4’s! I shorted myself space for 3 more!

Good morning!
My Orange Trumpet Honeysuckle Vine is not deciduous for us up north. It does loose it’s leaves in fall - we are southern Minnesota zone 4b.
I love those plants!!
It’s coming together nicely!
Such an exciting time at Creekside! Love it!

Jerry could you please explain a French Drain.
Very exciting projects!

Interesting to see the plants that would ship. Here in zone 8b Pacific Northwest, we have nine bark, and the purple beauty berry.

I really like that quart size.
So many plants so little space!!
Will you be getting more of the Proud Berry Coral Berry plants back in to ship?
I’m in Texas
96x90’ is approx size of my back yard! Looks great😀
The new houses are coming along nicely!
Once you move the potting machine, what will be happening in the annex?
The annex is the home to shipping (that was it’s main purpose when we built it) 😊
Jenny, can you put your stickers online so we can shop for those too? Would love to support you even in a small way. Love your page
Available now! gardeningwithcreekside.com/products/sticker
Awesome, I haven't checked lately

Well you know what that means!!!!! They’ll be going in the new garden 👏🏼
Are you in the south? I worry they’re fry here in GA.
@@anitahadley2871 I’m in NC, zone 7b. I’ve preen very pleased with how ‘Ginger Wine’ has done for me.
@@LetsGardenYall thanks, that’s good to know!
Will you be growing Vanilla Spice Summer sweet? I’d love to order some to make a hedge. Thanks congratulations on the new online store
That's the plan!
Dear Jenny
I have been to multiple stores looking for a pre-emergent and no one has it. Where did you get yours for your garden bed this year? I Really need some. Thank you in advance.
I am finally going to be going to NC not to far from you but it is for Thanksgiving time. I know you will be closed....Maybe some other time.
Yes, we will be closed the week of Thanksgiving, but we hope to see you the next time you are close by!
When can we start ordering from you all!!! I like the berry plants male and female
Now! Have fun 🤩
Hi 👋 Jenny
How can you grow a plant in production that won't survive in your zone? I'm confused about that.
I sent in an order for some plants. Will you be notifying people when they will be shipped per email?
Yes, as soon as you shipping label is created you will receive an email with tracking information
Hi I. Live. In Ontario Canada,,I have a question about hydrangeas..my daughter wants. me to split one or two to transplant at her house woul survive if we do it now in October..Please reply Thank you..
My pink Confederate Roses are looking good

Are you going to offer local pick up for what you offer online?
Not at this time, too many logistics involved in that process and spring/summer is already crazy enough 🤪
Will you be adding tables in the greenhouses at some point to hold more plants or just keep them on the gravel?
No, we grow most efficiently on the ground (tables can create wasted space)
Are you shipping to New Bern
We are shipping to all of the lower 48 states 😊
🙋
But it’s a seven, not understanding
I don't know when you all sleep
❤😊
So I’m an eight, so I can’t do the barberry 🎉
