Wonderful video! The aged map looks fantastic! (The aged tape is genius!) I love how you always have a story behind what you do, such as the folding of the map because it would have been carried in a pocket. And I laughed out loud when you talked about Americans and their idea of old buildings. I'm American and each state is like its own little country as they're all different. We tend to travel within America for our vacation and most of our exposure is to our own historical sites. We are aware of other country's history and age, but it's so far (and expensive) to go in person. I was able to go to Europe many years ago and I absolutely love the older architecture! Would love to visit the UK one day! Thanks for another great video! Janet 💕
Lovely. I make fake old tape using an alcohol ink (butterscotch) and drip and drag it onto cello tape. Let it dry a second or two and then wipe a but with a paper towel. No dirty hands and AMAZING fake tape.
This is such a good idea Amanda, love the way you have aged the maps. Look forward to seeing more of your travel journal that you are working on. Xx👍❤❤
So cool! Thank you for showing how to do maps and the tape technique. I’m quite new (last couple of years) to junk journaling. I love it and want to learn more. I’ve been a scrapbooker and stamper for the last 30 years, but this is a new adventure. I am from Saint Joseph, Michigan, USA and I don’t know anyone who does this. Where are you from? I love your accent, but then, I have one, too, from living in the Chicago Illinois area when I was younger.
How vintage you have made that map…… love it. I need to hunt Pinterest to find a French one for my journal. Where can I get some of those tiny paper clips? Totally agree with you about how awful coffee dyed paper smells🤮!thanks for sharing your creative tips.
@@Scrimpingmommy thank you sweetie- I have ordered from Amazon l. Also had to order more caramel alcohol ink as o gave mine away when I was having a stash purge!!!!!

Looks great. I would have also torn it in the middle where the folded corners meet. That’s where maps always tear

Fruit and old shoes 😂🤣 plus the map was wonderfully crusty.
