Yay Tim 🤗 you have arrived in the month I visited 🇦🇺 a beautiful time of year. The Willows are going to sleep there, whilst waking up here. Don’t know if you have any plans to visit 🇳🇿 it’s also amazingly lovely in March. Look forward to your videos!
When i hear beautiful voice of Vashti Bunyan, you got me. I already subscribed :) Nice work as well. Thanks for sharing Laura. All the best from Turkey!
Hallo friend, so happy you found my channel. Thank you for sub 🙏🏼💖🤗Yes Vashti’s singing is so incredible. I enjoy listening to her songs even when I am not working on chairs.
That looks really good... It has Formula 1 connotations 🏁🏎 But I'm not a Ferrari fan! 😂 Good work Laura 👏 So, about recovered from jet lag... The trip was a long one and battered me much more than the the trip out last time. The Pathfinder is booked in for 4 new all terrain tyres tomorrow morning. Need to catch up with Don from the mining company... do a load of food and water shopping...then back to the outback for me! Big hugs ! 🤗🌌🙏
Stellar! 🤗💖 I’m so excited you are back for another adventure🎉Yes to the tires. I just had🚙in for tire rotation and check. All good. Did the recent cyclone come over any of the areas you are going to explore? Big rains helpful for unearthing some treasures. Happy😋🛒🍤🥙🍎💧🍺 Thanks for watching my 🪑 repair…😂 Ferrari see ya in next one yours or mine 👍🏼👊🏼
@@LVSpeedweLL The storm went through Pilbara region.... a region I am tempted to go to but it's a blummin long way. So I'll see. But yeh, I said pretty much the same thing to my brother regarding the ground getting a good wash. 👍
You did that amazing work so quickly! I really liked the music with the lady singing, can you send me a link? Thanks Laura that was such a treat to watch. Original wisdom will be a treat to pass out to. 😂💕, at least I am feeling like I am benefitting from your reading on some subconscious level as I am usually out after the 5th or 6th paragraph!😂❤
Thank you for sharing this. I have a great shaker rocker that needed repaired. I bought two colors of tape to do it but ran out just before the last row. How do I add in a new roll? Any help would be greatly appreciated!🙏🏼
Hey Tina🙋🏻♀️ you’re welcome. Good on ya for giving this a go👍🏼. Sometimes new roll will be slightly different colour, but hopefully you’ll be able to get close match. I’m guessing you’re up to front of seat…Measure length of what you still need to weave in, plus width of chair and add extra five inches or (12.7 centimeters) Then back out two rows one on top and one on bottom. You’ll need to stitch the new length to the other material. You’ll want to make the attachment on the bottom of the seat where it won’t show. Midway across the underside of the seat cut off the other tape and stitch on the new tape. I’d make the tapes overlap three inches or (7.62 centimeters). If possible make the cut and stitches line up so they’ll be woven under and hidden by the other weaving. The attachment will be a little thicker than rest of tape, be sure to sew it tight, as you’ll be pulling it as you finish weaving. I prefer sewing to gluing that some folks use, since it’s stronger. The extra length will allow you to fold in and stitch down at the end of last row and then either tuck the end into the seat or trim off extra. Hope this helps.
@@LVSpeedweLL Thank You 🙏🏼 I assumed this is how it was done, but I awaited your reply for confirmation. It looks so nice I don’t want to mess it up now. Yes, correct, last row. The new roll came and the color looks really good. I can tell a very slight difference but my husband sees no difference.😊 Thanks so much for taking your time to reply to me. I genuinely appreciate it.
@@tinabeanr68 Yay 💃🏻you’re so welcome. Glad the new material is close in colour…😉we women see differently, in a good way. You are creating an heirloom and accomplishing something to be proud of; and your question may help other folks if they encounter similar situation. 🤗🙏🏼
I cut up a camping pad for under a sleeping bag; Walmart sells them, easier to find this time of year as they consider it a “seasonal item” Fairly sure Amazon will have them and places like REI, Target, some HomeDepot and Lowe’s as well.
Nice! I have to say, your chair repair video are the ones I love the most!
You Rock babe❤
Hey you two ❤❤....
Quick check in... it's gone 2.30 am ... just got to my brothers an hour ago 👍👍👍🌟🦎🤗
Will watch and catch up tomorrow.
@Black n Tan Yay!!!

It beats the hell out of doing a cane seat.
More comfy, too.
Amen! More comfort on hands working on it and very cozy to sit upon, Shakers are smart. 🤗💖
That depends on the direction of the cane!🤣🤣🤣

Lol, definitely one of the easiest seat weaving methods. Well I 🤷🏻♀️if i put ya to sleep reading, if you dreamt about flowers you heard the story.

Where did you get that foam insert?
