We had a huge amount of Rain (for our area) in a very short time and as you can see 😬it was pouring against the window. Checking the gutters revealed the issue…🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂leaves and small branches. Got the gutters cleaned! 🐞i included 2 bonus clips of two different NM insects. 🔎 ✅note to self: check after Autumn leaves fall, as I’m sure gutters will need to be cleaned again. My first attempt at Garlic scape vinegar is a😔fail; I will see if I can make an herbal vinegar; so many variables as to why this didn’t happen. Pondering the sugar🤔 maybe the extra minerals/molasses was what impacted fermentation? As the days went on and stirring didn’t activate bubbling😐… Water i used is reverse osmosis. Those are some large and busy ants. 😂
You will just be feeding them in a different place. Ants tend to build colonies near their favorite food sources. Good luck with this one.

Astonishing😮how the heck is🌾growing up there? Lol, some birds no doubt. What I pulled and washed out here looked well composted and could grow stuff. Thanks 🌌🤗
@LVSpeedweLL Yes, a combination of the trees at the back creating debris birds. A couple of neighbours put out so much food for the birds (not complaining) we have loads of pigeons and crows as well as the smaller birds. Hedgehogs and foxes too. Max gies fkn nuts sometimes when I take him in the garden and there's fesh smells of whatever... or a Hedgehog curled up... have to drag him away! 🤣

So beautiful! Glad to know they are also as fragrant as they are lovely. I came across one of these plants on a hike last October in Snow Canyon (southern Utah) but it wasn’t flowering.

Congratulations on your first high desert garden your garlic did better than mine here in Central Texas ! Mine got covered and smothered in Coastal Bermuda grass where I planted it this year as an experiment! It was outside of my fenced garden area and the deer only pulled a few of the young garlic the bigger problem was grass and weeds! Thanks for sharing your success and progress! 🙋🏻♀Hi Harlan thanks for watching; Strawberries are still an experiment, Winter survival will determine if I add more. 🤔altimeter says 6661 FT here in the house, which is funny because where I lived in NC was near Mt Mitchell, the “highest peak” east of the Mississippi… 6684 FT. Ridges and hollers were all around me in NC, whilst here it looks ‘flat’ with the mountains in the distance, so I forget how high up we are. In event of large wave I think we can float off.😅
