Roy Clark was one of the greatest musicians who ever lived. He was extremely talented, funny, a terrific host, and a dear friend to many. He also loved his fans. He once said "That camera looks into your soul and it knows if you are not genuine". The only thing tragic about his life is that he died from a prolonged bout with Pneumonia. At his funeral, hundreds of friends, fellow musicians, and fans paid their respects to this wonderful man. Roy entertained us on Hee Haw for over 25 years and many musicians say their success was due in part to Roy Clark's influence. May he rest peacefully in God's Kingdom.

Roy Clark was my very first guitar hero when I was just 8 years old back in the 1960's. Along with my Dad playing guitar and Roy fascinating me I started learning to play guitar myself. Incidentally, years later in my early 20's I went on to work as a professional guitarist and singer for over 35 years. I got to see Roy live a couple of times and he put on one heck of a show! Being from Missouri and living not far from Branson, MO, I saw many country stars perform at his Branson theater. Roy will always be my guitar hero. RIP my dear friend!

Modern day folks say what they want about that show but to us farm community people, it was the only chance we got to see many of the top Country stars of the day. He was probably the greatest country music musician that ever lived. He could do anything, you can not say that about any musician today or in the past. Maybe others who were great and their individual talents have nothing on someone that could play any string instrument during his time, where you could have said he was right here with Scruggs on the banjo, maybe the best of all time on violin if he only focused on that, could play the guitar, mandolin, and started as a pro at 16. He took every song and made it better, his career was American Idol today. He could have took all the instruments and played a whole song in sequnce by himself. He is truly a multi generational talent for the next 300 years.

Where does miserable come into this story,it seems to me that he performed what he wanted and when…82 years many would be happy with that.

Is this AI generated? The photos don't relate to the verbage most of the time. And I've never heard so many misprounced words and/or names in my life. I know it's a computer voice that dictates a text file, but for crying out loud; 1 hr of editing would make this 10x better.

Everybody gets older unless they've got a rare disease or something, and everyone will die. So, you should get right with God and ask Him for forgiveness. 🙏

Miserable Life & Tragic Death - false advertising - a.k.a. click bait - he was a happy, successful musician, singer, showman, etc - what is tragic about living to be 85?

The title of this video is a great example of yellow journalism spectacular headlines to try and sell this video. That's just not true.
