I downloaded this game a year ago and just started playing it last week and I love it! Your content is honestly more fun to watch than playing it the last couple days because of raids. I have watched around 6 of your videos thus far and they are very helpful, thanks. FYI, disabled Army veteran here too. It sounds like you’re doing good now and I’m happy to hear.
@@seethrewgaming back at you. I see a few minor differences in your videos than what I’m experiencing now but your tips are a big help. I’m normally a purist playing new games without tips but the raids are brutal on this game. Your content is a big help, thanks
I loved the video, especially the ironhouse. IMO, you should stick with the hatchet for harvesting the bushes. That big axe does do it faster, but its ungainly and you are damaging your planter boxes on every swing. On another topic, placing flags on the conquered islands is an awesome idea. Much better than trying to remember where I've been, lol. Thanks for that. Keep up the awesome videos...subscribed.
4:44 you mention longevity and this was 3 days ago, go read the Roadmap they put out today and yeah, this game's gonna be around a hot minute if they get all they want to do done in game.
it seems like this game is what Fallout should have given us (within the ocean areas). I love the concept and enjoyed the Waterworld film (at least the concept). Sucks that I only have console at the moment. Hoping to get a good gaming PC one day. Thanks for the content. Always enjoy your videos!
Base suggestion, do a wood foundation, wrap it with scrap foundation then armored foundation, this uses less materials. Make sure the back of your base is up against a flat tall rock.
@@seethrewgaming On the starter island there's a flat tall side of a rock I did 4 wide, 4 out then a 2 wide deck 4 out. I went 2 stories high and on the back wall I put those wide tall metal walls. research table 2 I used the upgraded barbwire stake deals then an armored foundation around the outside of those. I'm only on the level 2 research table so far. Seems to be holding really well.
I'm on their discord and I tryied to tell to the Devs that they should add a chainsaw and a drill ---> The crafts could be: shark teeth ( since as two types of charks in the game, and sharks give us skin to make a better backpack they could give us also teeth for the chainsaw {besides they both give meat} (each skark could drop 3 teeth) > need 20 for the chainsaw -components 15 -scrap metal > 35 -eletric parts > 10 advanced parts > 15 iron ingots & copper > 15/15 each For the drill Same thing but only with hammer shark skin + teeth ( they could be more strong) to make the perfect tool to drill raw iron/ coper in islands and maybe under water too. What you think of it @Seethrew
Hey I built my base right where yours is. Good advice. Thanks. Been respawning everything by stopping short of completely looting everything to poof. Got used to splitting a few pieces of wood to singles in inv so I can toss them into the kind of containers i open… so they don’t pop. Helps get more cloth and stuff. So next I’m trying to ring the base 7x7 with spikes & wire so I can repel raids a little more automatically. Got a Deagle from the 3rd looting of the cop cars at Po Station. So that paid off Big. Next is the old rifle. Then back to taking out locations. Good tip on the flagging. I’ll put a red flag on anywhere I kill to zero. Oh and I figured out Why I Do need to make the speedboats…. Daylights burning while I’m crossing the map at 50kph in my sailboat, lol. I got a raid and took Forever to get home. They’de killed a couple walls, lamps, and a full container by then. Oops. Gg bro.
@justin66gough if you lot a chest full of contents, but leave 1 item, log out and log in, the chest will reset. Lots of people tell me this but I haven't tried it and won't, but yall can have at it.
@@seethrewgaming Wow, really? I just got the game a week ago and have only played a few hours. I didn't realize shift would boost the sailboat too. I'll try that

Agreed. This game is awesome. I love the diving scavenging.
So good

Heck yeah the new road map is awesome!
60mp/h is 100km/h something around that..at some point i saw 664km/h...that is 412.59 miles per hour^^
just to give you an idea^^
It is trivial *to convert kmph to mph:*
Mph = kmph/2 + kmph/10
Example:
100 kmph -> 100/2 + 100/10 = 50+10 = 60 mph
It is likewise trivial *to convert mph to kmph:*
kmph = mph*2*2*2*2/10
Example:
60 mph -> 60*2*2*2*2/10 = 120*2*2*2/10 = 240*2*2/10 = 480*2/10 = 960/10 = 96 kmph
Great idea. Thank you for posting.

what happens when you lose your research bench? do you have to rebuild and upgrade it? or is it already upgraded when you rebuild it?
It just picks up where you left off when you rebuild a new one.
You keep your upgrade levels

Awesome thank you, been a few days and only enough I did something similar to your suggestion. Thank you!

grad a spear....go under water. it's fun
If you leave something in containers and don't fully harvest they refill with more items
Yeah I know, little to cheaty for me tho
Can you explain this a little more please? I’m confused by this
@justin66gough if you lot a chest full of contents, but leave 1 item, log out and log in, the chest will reset. Lots of people tell me this but I haven't tried it and won't, but yall can have at it.
How the hell and how long it took you to get so much stuff?
I'm just a pro gamer lol, all islands was looted on that playthrough, idk started a new once since
repair hammer ftw
How the heck does your boat go faster than 75kph?
Shift boost?
This was also maybe before they nerfed it. Used to go super fast with the push glitch lol

Noone respawns on islands
Knock, knock knock. FBI OPEN UP!
