Very well played. I stayed for the ending which you cut short. Never the less, this was the cleanest cover of the tune I've ever heard. I think Wendy had a strong influence on this sound. Prince was known for being a funk blues musician. Wendy's style allowed Prince to crossover into the rock realm. She never really got props for that. Listening to you play the tune, I almost forgot it was a Prince tune. You really brought out the American rockabilly country music tones. Thank you so much.

@@AshMaksymMusicstrange... I mean I have to say that I/we were kinda expecting that stop at the end... I also have to say that what you played at the end there was badass. You totally incorporated what Prince did into your own thing. Almost kinda (dare I say it) didn't miss that wailing guitar solo (and that 'is' a solo) and that's one of my favourite pieces of guitar playing ever..! Respect man for putting your craft out there for all. No holding back... at least I don't think there was... maybe you gotta whole back pocket full of that stuff...🤔 I also play this one for many years. I kinda rip my own version of it but I keep that end bit straight. That first notes great ain't it... just 'Blues' really but mean as hell 😅
Sorry, is Wendy a Co writer, girlfriend...?? I know that there was a few women involved with the whole thing, but I've heard her mentioned. Fascinating fact, of which you speak...Prince had that killer playing under wraps! I'm aware that he started off playing Funk/Soul but he does an incredibly convincing 'Rock' also, yet you say it was Wendy's influence.... maaan, who was she... some kinda Rock goddess...??!😎🤙

What’s that second chord in the main chord? I can’t seem to figure it out (The one with the two chords then the riff
Hey, it’s an inversion of Emajor (if it’s the one I think you mean). So if you play G#BE or 6th fret on D string, 4th fret on G string and 5th fret on B string.
If that’s not the chord let me know and I’ll send over the one you mean ⚡️

Solo was on point till you add extra which sounded good but should have stick with the way price did it
