Yes. The car is 500lbs lighter with the sr. This car was built around drifting and handling good. Also note that’s 500lbs off the front of the car. Car is almost 50/50 balanced now. If I wanted to make more power I could easily put a bigger turbo on and turn it back up but the power to weight is perfect right now. My z weighted in at 28xxlbs a stock tt is 34xxlbs. My sr z is way faster than my old tt. The tt and the na vq suck to work on also

300zx was the v configured motor Supra was the in-line and the rx was the rotary. It was pretty much battle of the motors, but I understand swaps especially if it makes things easier to work on

As much as I love sr’s, i think for this combo of Z32 and 4cyl, either a vvl sr or a k24 would be really interesting. Just as light, better heads, higher rpm with more power capabilities. But nobody wants to mess with z’s it seems which is why it’s annoying they’re almost as taxed as s-chassis these days
