I have just purchased that same board and after a couple of weeks I have realised that with the AXIS HPS foils it rides very, nose high. After researching I need to shim it +1.5° to bring the rake better. I guess if you have same foil manufacturer as board you don't have these issues. I know the board is intended to ride nose up but not pointing at the stars 😂.

Strange as I know people using axis on boards with more tail rocker. Guess it depends a bit on with mast, fuse, stab you are using
@@pastyadventures thanks Lee, mast 82cm AXIS Short Fuse and 425 progressive stab. I think next time out I will place the foil in the middle of the box to see if this changes the angle as the board has tail rocker it might be set too far back. Trial and error I guess.
Too late to swap to Fanatic foils for me.
top video! for a rider with 85kg and board around 80-90liters.. wind speed around 8-13knots... would you say 1000 or 1250cm? Cheers
Depends on your wing size but if 8knts the 1250 will be better. It’s very good and easy to ride 🤙
I really would like to know what you harness line is. Did you make it or buy it. Please let me know. I have been trying everything and nothing works well. Scott P.
In this vid it’s just a bit of 8mm dyneema which is what I use on the Unit with hard handles. On the slick with boom I am now using the Ion adjustable wing harness line as the rope wraps round the boom

Leash is a standard webbing sup leash attached to Duotone short kite leash. That way both my leashes are quick release onto waist belt.
Harness line is just 6mm dyneema, which I find best as it moves out way and is soft so doesn’t hit you in face during tacks etc. I like the standard Duotone coli wrist leash but it tangles with the harness line so no good 👍

Sweet set up! I’m on a Sky Style 4’11” and all Slick SLS wings! Love em! What length fuselage are you running? And have you ridden with the standard Carbon mast? Thanks!
Using the 60 fuse. Have used the standard carbon 90 and it’s good. The te mast is bit thinner and stiffer that’s all

Looks nice! Could you tell me what’s your harness line solution? I have still trouble with fixing some lines to the Carbon boom, it’s just sliding around. Thanks
I use a clove hitch with dyneema rope. Prefer just rope over fixed harness line as doesn’t hit you in head

Yep I’m 92kg, the 5’1 85L is my lightwind board I use the 4’9 65L when it’s proper windy 😊
