One thing I learned recently is that, if you want something, stop at nothing to get it but make sure it’s really what you want. I ran cross country for a year at least. I managed to place top 5 in most of the races, it never satisfied enough though. I thought that my head was the thing that would be better from it. In reality that isn’t how it works. I found more pleasure in martial arts and weight training and still do.
