I swear cats lick random things just because it feels cool. I had one that would lick a Walmart bag. Not chew LICK said bag. Didn't matter if it was in a trash can as a liner, or the ones stuffed in another bag in a cupboard FOR liners. He never got his teeth into them, just laid there and licked the bag...
