These were magical era , I was born in the middle 70's , there was so much to watch with only 3 channels , nowadays thousands of channels and not much Worthing of watching ...
I remember watching this back in 1986 on tv (obviously a re-run of the film). I was so enthralled by it. It was the only live action Spider-Man we had at the time, so it was a real thrill to see it. Even though I found the movie boring as a kid, I loved every Spider-Man scene (which today, may seem corny and dated). I still think his suit looks awesome with the weird shaped eyes and utility belt. I loved the weirdness of it all.
It actually wasn't that bad. The jumping scenes were better than even some today with the CGI. He was probably on a mini tramp and got several feet of altitude before they switched shots, made it look pretty darn realistic. Far better than the new Bionic Woman series in 08 I think, that flopped after like 10 episodes, partly because the special effects were mostly crap. Compare that new series to this shot of Steve Austin running 60+ mph and how totally realistic it looks, especially for the time. It's all in how serious you make it and how much effort is put in, not just the technology. Six Million Dollar Man Running 60+mph - Awesome! (Music by STIKS1969)
"It's an atomic bomb... You must get him out of the building!" The building, an atomic bomb and they should get out of the building? How about out of the damn state?
Notice how the stuntman (our man in tights) has to keep spreading out his arms to keep balance every time he's walking on the roof. He couldn't see anything through those eyepieces.
2:03 So he pushes a guy down... 2:07 and then runs away. So basically it's the Spider-Man version of "Na na na na na naa, you can't catch me- oh shit, he's big."
Watching spiderman run around 70s San Fernando Valley suburbia is the least visually exciting incarnation imaginable. On the other hand, parts of me were very excited to see his female guest star
It's really hard to belive that this was the first TV series-live series,of SPIDERMAN,.decades before the Tobey McGuire movies. it was a bland, but somewhat entertaining series, that tried its best-but met with a merciful cancelation by CBS,who was having a tremendous success with "THE INCREDIBLE HULK" around this time period. the costume was okay-but the white utility belt was outrageous-it made him look almost like BATMAN. and yes,,this segment was rewarding, since JoAnna Cameron showed greatly!
So much for spider sense LOL! That guy planted a heck of a kick on Spiderman even though he started yelling letting Spidy know he was coming 10 seconds before landing the kick.
This series was made before cgi & the budget was not that large.it did pretty well until they changed the time zones.by the way, the chick is Joanna Cameron - she played the lead in The secrets of Isis a few years before this.
At 1:50 Spiderman's like, "bring it punk, I'll slam your face into a post and trick you into holding onto this web that looks suspiciously like a rope so you won't come after me".
First, I loved seeing Joanna Cameron in that itsy, string bikini!! Second, I'm glad that Spidey was able to defuse the bomb and prevent a nuclear disaster on Los Angeles, CA.
You know, I was like 5 years old when this came out, and remember watching it when I was kid. I'm 39 now and have some memories of it. Back then it was exciting, but alas, to look at it now is kinda cheesy. We are now spoiled by animation, graphics and CGI. This show would be a weak spoof of today's technology.
4:07 his shirt says "BUILDING MAINTENANC", missing an E because.... there isn't any room for it :) Got to love these clips. Jumps played in reverse, effects done with cuts, and those exaggerated spidey moves on 1:17...
To it's detractors, I respectfully submit the following from Wikipedia: The Amazing Spider-Man series had solid ratings throughout its run. [...] [The show] was not canceled because of low ratings. During its first season, The Amazing Spider-Man was a top 20 show, coming in 19th for the season. In fact, the series performed well in the ratings, but was expensive to produce and the CBS executives wanted to shed the network's image as "The Superhero Network," so they canceled the show.
Yeah, I fell in love with Joanna Cameron when I was a kid.. She had one of those great after school TV shows. The Mighty Isis. I Think it was part of a block of 30min shows. Shazam, Jason of Star Command, Space Academy. It was a great time of wonderful live action shows. I really miss what Saturday mornings used to be,Unique and original television. Fun happy times, Saturday mornings were an event. That window in the 90's With Zena and Hercules, Action Pack, great attempt,it needed super heroes
If that's meant to be sarcasm, Stan Lee was actually a creative consultant on the TV show that this film was derived from, so he quite clearly must have liked the direction it was taking.
Mate thats your opion some people like me think this is a classic tv series of spiderman and a true spiderman fan would think this is a classic if you did not like the tv series why are you watching it in the first place
I loved this show as a child but it was on at the same time as bed time and I could only watch it if Dad wasn't home. Mom was cool about. The Greates American Hero was another childhood favorite but 8:00 on wedsday nights was also bedtime. I knew they looked cheesy but though it was awsome that they mad them. Anything with Superheros was cool when we were young.
These were magical era , I was born in the middle 70's , there was so much to watch with only 3 channels , nowadays thousands of channels and not much Worthing of watching ...
Now this is what I call a Spiderman movie
😂😂😂
This was a great TV show back in the day. Nicholas Hammond is awesome. Wonder woman and Hulk great also.
damn! that boy jumped on and off a house!....in slow motion ;)
Well I'm sure 20 years from now people will probably joke about our CGI
Just watched a clip from the first Thor movie, and actually it looks pretty bad

I remember watching this on VHS tape as a kid in 90s, i loved every moment of it, and somehow i still love it.
Its old but gold
lol old spoderman is hilarious but i'm glad that his personality is pretty consistent throughout time.
Seriously guys? This is a pretty good movie for its time. Why so much hate? They didn't have all the technology that we do now!
Your smokin dope. This was crap!!
You tell them mate I am fed up telling people on here that this movie was good
John Suter
mate this was good Ok maybe not as good as the new movies but still good for its time
Thebryan6145 No, it wasn't good for its time :p

Christ Spidey took you long enough to push the Henchman into the pool, but I loved it when the girl in the bikini smiled.
She's Joanna Cameron. She's best known for playing in the 1970's series The Secrets Of Isis of the heroic Isis.
Back in the day... this is ALL we had!!!
Rob774 tech wise sure, but the acting and coriagraphy are terrible. it's not all about fancy tech, even the suit looks trashy
And the awesome sam raimi SPIDER-MAN trilogy
Chris Lugo no
Classic. This is how I first found out about Spiderman when I was little. I thought he was the same Spiderman from the show Electric Company on PBS
"It's an atomic bomb... You must get him out of the building!" The building, an atomic bomb and they should get out of the building? How about out of the damn state?
Captain America
Fair enough.
Johnnie Campbell Back in the day when you're about 5 years old, it is bad ass.
***** oh ok hahahaha
wetlazer lol
close to 38 years old now, it's really not bad for it's time, and that woman was gorgeous
Legal parabéns ótimo demais parabéns ótimo demais 🇧🇷😁😆🐕👍💙🤝🤝
My Spidey-Sense is tingling!
Yeah, she's pretty hot
Spidey ALWAYS held back his punches an strikes.
Joanna Cameron is a reason to watch anything....even this.
Joanna Cameron is really interesting and I loved this tv show when I was a kid.
Notice how the stuntman (our man in tights) has to keep spreading out his arms to keep balance every time he's walking on the roof. He couldn't see anything through those eyepieces.
I liked Nicholas Hammond as Peter Parker.
Me too..
i'm here because of the bikini girl
Hah. Bikini gilr
Spot on! I was just thinking if anyone did the same thing.
That bikini girl really gets my "spidy senses" tingling.....silly nickname for my willy i know!
shaun robinson should have stuck to "Web shooter".....
PMSL.....ive been outdone there!
Finally the ultimate super-villain and opponent of spider-man is revealed. GUY WITH A BEARD!
Yes, she was.
I believe Joanna Cameron is about 62 now.
Geeeze - time flies . . .
He keeps looking over his shoulder like; does anyone see me in this bright red and blue pajama outfit for adults.
2:03 So he pushes a guy down...
2:07 and then runs away.
So basically it's the Spider-Man version of "Na na na na na naa, you can't catch me- oh shit, he's big."
I loved this show as a kid. it was way better than what kids have today
Watching spiderman run around 70s San Fernando Valley suburbia is the least visually exciting incarnation imaginable. On the other hand, parts of me were very excited to see his female guest star
MUST BE IN THE MCU!
It's really hard to belive that this was the first TV series-live series,of SPIDERMAN,.decades

Spiderman stole Batman's utility belt. And some adult sized Spiderman pajamas.
Spidey gets dropped kicked in the back at 1:20 like his spider senses was completely turned off!!!! LOL!!!!!!
this, was, all we had back in the 1970s it was good. some people dont understand that.
2:47 when he looks at the camera, I bet under his mask he's thinking "Bikini Woman? Lucky Spidey!"
the spiderman looks like mr.bean
i was born at 1991 and seriously didnt even know that there was a tv series of spiderman! xD
2019?
Oh never mind im just watching this.....
I love that Spiderman's got a little muffintop.
So much for spider sense LOL! That guy planted a heck of a kick on Spiderman even though he started yelling letting Spidy know he was coming 10 seconds before landing the kick.
I'm 11 and have been a big fan of marvel since I was like 2 and this is awsome
RIP JoAnna Cameron
best spidey movie ever. i am serious btw this is great
This movie made some hi-hat player's career.
Lol
This is brilliant.
No spider sense? 1:20 That guy shouldn't be able to sneak up on spiderman like that
This series was made before cgi & the budget was not that large.it did pretty well until they changed the time zones.by the way, the chick is Joanna Cameron - she played the lead in The secrets of Isis a few years before this.
At 1:50 Spiderman's like, "bring it punk, I'll slam your face into a post and trick you into holding onto this web that looks suspiciously like a rope so you won't come after me".
It's supposed to be more of a send-up of Kung-Fu films of that time than it is about Spider-Man. It's not bad considering it's era.
This music is sweet!
0:52. I didn't know Spider Man was somebody's dad in long johns. Stan Lee said this show "had no heart."
i came here just to hum "spider-man, spider-man, does whatever a spider does" lol
I never knew ancients had camera and a fan of spiderman. I guess 17th century were smarter than we though they were.
This is vintage 1970's, you can even smell it.
Boom in shot at 4min 15 sec ha ha.....love these retro clips
Look up in his Google moviemastakes and look up TV mastakes DVD Easter eggs DVD hidden Easter eggs video game cheats
One of the best clips from No Way Home
The soundtrack is pretty amusing and the SFX are hilarious! I'm so glad I found this!
First, I loved seeing Joanna Cameron in that itsy, string bikini!! Second, I'm glad that Spidey was able to defuse the bomb and prevent a nuclear disaster on Los Angeles, CA.

This is the Spider-Man/Mighty Isis crossover we didn't know we needed!
wow, she was ffiiinnnneee!!!!! Never knew low rise bikini bottoms were in style so long ago! :O
Spidey had no strength, but some how the genetics of the spider turned him into a karate expert.
4:07 his shirt says "BUILDING MAINTENANC", missing an E because.... there isn't any room for it :)
Got to love these clips. Jumps played in reverse, effects done with cuts, and those exaggerated spidey moves on 1:17...
Hahahahaha
Like all the classic TV movies into TV mini series we us fans want it to be amen
LOL THAT WEBBING
When "Spidey" lands at 1:12 you can see a crew member's arm at the far left of the screen - "Spidey" even looks over at him/her.
if attacked from behind not only avoided him with the spider sense, also the man shouted enough to realize and avoid the kick.
building maintenance lol i love it.
Wow. She has a perfect look fo 70's. Fit and beautiful. Very strange.
To it's detractors, I respectfully submit the following from Wikipedia:

Compliments from your friendly neighborhood spiderman.
Nicholas Hammond, the best Peter Parker till today.
spidermans web made me like WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?? HAHAHA
Hammond looked like the 90s cartoon Peter Parker. I liked his spidey suit much better than the modern ones .
The new spiderman's old suit looks exactly like this one

He looks like a crazy blind guy. Hahahaha!
BOOF, BAM KAPOW! incredible acting and action! ....makes me wanna pull out old tapes of Hulk or The Courtship of Eddie's father.
Man, to me, this look cooler then adam west's Batman.
This Spiderman seems Mr. Bean wearing a costume of Spiderman 🤣🤣
Dang, didn’t know women had abs like that back in 1977! 😘😘😘😘
This spider-man looks a bit pathetic, but the woman is just perfect
This was the shit when I saw it in '77. But yeah. Doesn't age well...
yorkie elliot and yet I believe this spider-man would beat the shit out of tobey maguire 10 out of 10 times.
trwright7 Beat the shit out of Tobey Maguire, or Tobey Maguire's incarnation of Spider-man?
yorkie elliot Both
trwright7 Ha, okay. But I can't see that this Spidey even having the ability to beat the shit out of Stephen Hawkins!
I love the no spider sense when that guy pops out. Reminds me of the last Spiderman flick. Damn you Sam raimi. Ughhh!!
i was a fan of this show when i was a kid. thanks for uploading.
Mate thats your opion some people like me think this is a classic tv series of spiderman and a true spiderman fan would think this is a classic if you did not like the tv series why are you watching it in the first place
loved the 70's tv shows no reality show crap !
I always liked this as a kid then realize how slow he is climbing and running hunched over and arms all spread out
Damn only my father and grandfather got to enjoy this:)
Great body !!!! And Spidey was cool too.
1:20 Spider sense FAIL
kkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
He actually had a spider sense back in the day.
His spider sense only happened when Peter Parker was not wearing the suit
damn i guess his spider sense didnt give him a warning about that flyin kick coming lol...
2:18
Thank you so much ❤❤❤❤❤
I remember this in the 70's when I was a kid .whatching it now looks so funny.
The shouty kung-fu guy is hilarious! "I will miss you by a foot every time! Yaaahhhhhh!!!"
This Spider Man looks like he's better off posing for money on Times Square.
Better than spiderman 3
This movie won 15 Oscars
Remember the Goblin`s son attack in Spider man 3, he`s no use suit in moment... and nothing have with the power crisis...
Yaaaa ... Aaaah ... Yaa ... !!! Lol !!!
I loved this show as a child but it was on at the same time as bed time and I could only watch it if Dad wasn't home. Mom was cool about. The Greates American Hero was another childhood favorite but 8:00 on wedsday nights was also bedtime.
