    "big, biiig, big mofuggas" lol hahahah :,D
    Edit: "big tree was right infront of our fucking noses" hahahah I don't know why but hearing you swear around like that is so hilarious, love it! :,))

      Haha! I think this is the most I’ve ever kept swearing in my vlogs to be honest. Usually I keep it clean, but this felt natural haha

    Joe = (Initial) J + Elly = Jelly. Joe and Elly travelling = Jelly Journey. Sounds silly like that, but i just figure that out now! Great video by the way, california seems beautiful! :)

      Haha! It’s always great when people make the connection between the names. I’d be interested to know what percentage have realised it, but I like keeping it as a bit of an “inside” note.

    I love that trip. I’ve done it a few times now. The redwoods and the coast are stunning

    • @joeallam
      @joeallam  5 лет назад

      We were torn between doing the full coastal route, or heading inland. Granted, we had to make a detour back on ourselves because of the snow closures, I’m still glad we experienced both terrain

    Next time you find yourself in Oregon stick to the 101. Some utterly wonderful locations and plenty of small towns to pick up cheap motels and airbnbs :)

    March on the West Coast is still ski season. It'll snow as late as April in the Sierra Nevada in Northern California, so Oregon and Washington will definitely have snow on the ground in March.

    10:10 Table Rock Mtn, I grew up in that town! that mountain used to be an old military landing strip but was retired due to part of the rock collapsing.

    Wonder when they actually took this trip? Mid-June through August they might have a freak snowstorm, but not the road blockage and dangerous driving they were afraid of finding in the area from North Klamuth Falls to Crater Lake. Apart from a massive snow dump in mid-winter, the park service plows out the main access road from south entrance up to the lake overlook all year long.

    Wow the lighting and that cabin lodge, the photos from there would be so cool, hello Elly, wow those trees, great scale using Elly.

    I guess I'm confused why you didn't drive up the Pacific Coast Highway/Hwy 101? I know it would have added a few hours to your trip to get back to the coast after Crater Lake was a bust, but it's so worth it. Hopefully you at least made it to Canon Beach?

    Lucky You, I am from Oregon and Never seen Big Tree. I mean I've seen some pretty big ass trees, you saw those too but..NOT CALIFORNIA'S BIG Tree.
    And I have a feeling I would've made the same mistake.
    And I love your Reactions to Oregon. Also you weren't in Marion County part of Oregon in 2019, that would confuse you more because Back in March, that part of Oregon was In UK mode...rain for Days.
    Actually today it just got done raining and now looks like Summer..even though it's the middle of fall.

    I love your videos mate. But perhaps I have a panasonic video IQ quality bias. I believe you had a stint where a lot of vids were shot with the GH5 or GH5s. Aside from the terrible AF with those cameras, which was admittedly noticeable in your vids, I still prefer the overall panasonic look overall. Just an observation, and I hope you don't mind me sharing it. I should also add that I love your still images with all cameras, including and especially the fuji. But for video.. it gets a bit weird and oversaturated at times.

    • @joeallam
      @joeallam  5 лет назад

      Erm… not quite sure what you’re seeing. This was shot on GH5 and GH5S. Glad you like the stills at least

    • @antant06
      @antant06 5 лет назад

      @@joeallam My apologies, it must be in my mind then. It seems you're quite a bit pinker in this video than in others and I assumed you were shooting fuji. Must say I still love all your vids regardless and will continue watching and liking each one. :)
