Palmetto RPDC at Palmetto Logistics Pkwy in Fairburn, Georgia is (NOT) big enough to have (ALL) of the State of Georgia coming into one Building. This building is Only big enough for a Shipping and Receiving Facility. We've had too many Truck driver's pull up at our Dock door and most of the Truck driver's have stated that this building is ("NOT ") big enough to pull All of the State of Georgia into this building, and that its "Only " big enough for a "Shipping " and Receiving " Facility. The Mail Handlers have been (ALL) working hard and diligently in micro managing the Floor in order to make room for the old mail that has been coming in from Atlanta Christmas Annex building because of the Transition into this new Palmetto RPDC sorting and Delivery Center. So, therefore, we have "Old" mail and new mail both coming into this Facility at the same time. It is unfortunately that Postmaster General, Louis Dejoy and Congress has Re-routed (ALL) of these Carrier routes into one Facility. Its Crazy. Apparently Postmaster General, Louis Dejoy 10-year Plan "Delivering for America " 🇺🇸 was (NOT) well thought out nor was it well planned nor was it well executed. Postmaster General, Louis Dejoy and his staff in Washington DC basically sat up on their ass and just drew up papers 📃 😳 and Postmaster General, Louis Dejoy just said Okay, now go out there across the Country and get me some sorting and Delivery Facilities before (FIRST) going out into the Trenches and visiting the Local U.S. Postal Service Processing and Distribution Centers and speaking with the Postal Service Workers and getting their input (FIRST) before drawing up on papers 📃 any plans to consolidate this mail like this because at the end of the day, it is the U.S Postal Service Workers who (ALL) know the Operations and functions of the United States Postal Service. This is why we need Young People in our government because they care about Humanity. Postmaster General,;Louis Dejoy is an Old head just like we have Old heads in Congress right now and they don't care about Humanity, obviously. These Old heads in Congress and Postmaster General, Louis Dejoy (ALL) just basically sat up on their ass and didn't care about the people. You know, you don't sit up on your ass like this and uproot people's lives like that by dictating to the U.S..Postal Service Federal Government Employees and designating us to go to one specific location by Force against our Will like this and then disrupting the bidding process. We have families and our Children are situated in School and they are deeply involved in their communities. We have Postal Service Workers who have homes 🏡 and they can (NOT) be commuting 50 miles out to 70 miles out and even to other States driving. No! No! No! Postmaster General, Louis Dejoy and Congress have already been receiving a lot of backlash about this Nationwide mail crisis 😳 to a point to where Congress and Postmaster General Louis Dejoy wil have No other choice, but to go back to the drawing board and sit down and Rethink this 10-year Plan of Delivering for America. So, therefore, the U.S. mail will have to be REVAMP back to its original local District Processing and Distribution Centers, ASAP. And it is unfortunately that this urgent decision may have to come before the November General Election which is why it is important to Keep Politics out of the United States Postal Service because it is a VERY delicate operation. You know you are handling people's mail. Politics MUST stay completely OUT of the United States Postal Service? PERIOD!!!

Logistically it doesn’t make sense….especially for the north Georgia metro Atlanta area. I tracked a package that needed to be delivered to Atlanta. The package went to Atlanta processing then to Palmetto, GA and back to Atlanta, GA and back to Palmetto, GA and back to Atlanta, GA. Then out for delivery…..how senseless. This was a waste of time, gas, money and extremely inefficient.
Those morons. Why would you consolidate into one center? If there was an emergency that caused that center to shit down (tornado, mass shooting, electrical problems), everyone's mail would be held up. If there are several distribution centers, you have can limit the damage. Morons!
I've spoken to a management employee at this facility about my missing mail and only got a deer in headlights look. . My impressions are that they just don't give a "blank"
Trust me, it's because they don't know, not lack of caring. This is an example of trying to grow before being prepared for growth. All the changes over the past few years are too fast too soon.

And there's no definitive plan to do so. If that's the way it is just say it instead of avoiding the issue. Have you heard one statement from the postal service saying that they care about their customers'mail? Has there been an act by the postal service that shows they care about this issue?

Shipped out 02/21/2024, arrived to ATLANTA GA NETWORK DISTRIBUTION CENTER on 02/23/2024, and showed "In transit to next facility, arriving late" on 02/28/2024. My daughter sent a lost package request, and they emailed her back 2 weeks ago saying it's still in transit...

I just started my business, I purchased everything in advanced. My package was originally shipped to ups and then I get a notification saying that it was transported to usps and I haven’t got an update for 3 weeks my products were suppose to be coming from Georgia to Michigan and they are essential and I cannot buy them anywhere else I was supporting another small business
Use UPS! The only company we use at work as we ship thousands of dollars of parts back and forth via our factory. I wouldn’t let the USPS ship a box full of dog crap.
It amazes me how when upper management makes dumb ass decisions and things go sideways it's always the people in trenches who are at fault. They're trying to process mail at one facility that was previously processed at four. If you don't think people are coming to work drive through the employee parking lot one evening and look for an empty space. The problem is Louis Dejoy..
