You’re a great teacher Colt. Wish I was younger every time I watch you so I could make use of your talents.
You can do it😎👍 thanks
You got it friend!!!
We can do all things in Christ Who strengthens us!!
Blessings Ang Shalom Aleichem.
@@davedean1571. Leave your religious BS out of this.
@jessepitt thank you 😀👍
Free Country Free Speech First Ammendment I guess you dont belive in this. Don't like it don't read it pal. @jessepitt
@ 1:32 - I think you simply misspoke stating that one rotation of the transfer case input creates 2 rotations at the transfer case outputs for low range operation. It's the other way around - It takes 2 rotations of the transfer case input gear to get 1 rotation of the transfer case output yokes in low range. Great channel and great video!
I was thinking this too 😂
Yeah, got the reduction backerds!
You're a natural at explaining things on camera, Colt! That wrecker Rory is putting together for Robby is one cool project!
I am glad you got your own channel. I watched the whole S-10 build you do a great job of explaining the process.
Awesome! Thank you!
Its good to see someone teaching, showing, and explaining again. Even if i think I know how to do something its always good to watch someone else show how they do it. Keep up the great content!
Nice DIY. Can't wait to see the Pacer build. Thanks, Colt.
Hello from Englandistan, Great that your looking after Robbie, and your hands. I was not so considerate with mine for years gripping hard, hammering chiseling etc. To my cost, I have had in all 13 operations on them now, and they're still not right. Look after your hands and backs guys one spinal op down now, so no more strain for me.
Nice video..!!!
Never heard them called crush sleeves
Weve always called them rollpins
Or spring pins
Yes, roll pins. Crush sleeve is on your pinion.
Some people can't explain it.. you have it figured out. Really like what u do
Here’s a comment for the algorithm, Looking forward to more great content. How cool to do these projects that help other YT fabers. This is going to be a great channel, thanks for sharing Colt!
crush sleeve ?? In California its known as a roll pin ,i was scratching my brain to figure it out . still good ,keep up the good video;s
It's a roll pin in West Virginia too.
Always called them roll pins in NC, too
Roll pins for sure here in PA. Crush sleeve is used on an axle pinion to adjust pinion preload here in PA.
Even in canada I was told they were a roll pin or split pin sometimes lol
I'm certain he knows the difference, he just misspoke. I know that I would screw up like mad if trying to make an educational video of any type.
COLT, VERY informative and step by step instructions. WELL DONE SIR!!!😀
Have to chuckle every time someone talks about the 205. My long time work truck (73 K30) I bought in '81, has a 205, but I've rarely used low range, the darned 4 sp creeper is really low to begin with, lol!! Great build with explanations! Thanx !
Was that a "don't tell mom the babysitter is dead" quote? Nice
Great stuff, Colt. Calling a roll pin (or spring pin) a crush sleeve has a bunch of us scratching our heads though.
Good video! For Youse Guys, that don't understand the English language from the Dakotas, and other places north of I80, I recommend watching Derick @ Vice-Grip Garage, so you can learn to understand a Fellers proper use of English. Then you might understand that little crush pinny thing. 😂
You should put out a call to anyone looking to finish a project. Some people lack all the knowledge. You can swoop in and get a video and a friend out of it. There are tons of trucks at 97% that could use help but too proud to ask. Or don’t know who to trust. Just an idea.Bearded mechanic does that with motorcycles. You always help people and you are a good dude. That’s why I said it.
Just a thought about a shirt logo COLTBUILT. Love your content.
Love seeing how things come apart and come together. Robby should be happy.
Way to go, Colt. It's great 👍 to see you working with other RUclipsrs!
Rattle can paint on the drivetrain is the best for quick touch ups. Thanks for all the tips and tricks, great information and very helpful.
Going to tough ..Robbie needs it he will send it when needed
I want to thank you for explaining what you are doing very well. 😊
OHHH! Robby's model AA tow truck build by Rory. I thought you were helping Robby's current wrecker King Fred.
40 plus years as a mechanic. Never heard them called crush sleeve. Roll pins in my neck of the woods also.
Thank Matt and Robbie for me following you..
Rad explanatory teardown and rebuild. Made it look as easy as a black n white coloring book.
I know that coloring book, my favorite page is the Killer Whale.
Outstandingly done Colt.
What a pleasure listening to you explaining every step of the process.
Colt, I would love to see you built a wrecker some day! I bet you would build one heck of a rig……
Colt, you do a great job in your build series. The S10 was an amazing budget build, I love that it performs so well on simple leaf springs. Can't wait to see the Pacer build
I also meant to add that this video is in that same category. The t-case doubler build on the S10 was exceptionally explained and interesting as well.
Many, many thanks for the class and your knowledge on this part. I sent this to my off-road friend. It made his day. He is now looking to gather all the parts he needs. Thank you again.
Glad it helped!
Sold me on ORD. Crazily smart design.
I love what you do. I'm glad you have your own channel. I hope all is good with you and Matt.
That was a great explanation as to how a Tcase actually works, I really enjoyed the commentary as you went along. Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I know I sure couldn't lift a 175 pound t-case onto a workbench. I guess that's one of the reasons I'd rather watch you build stuff instead of building things myself. (Lack of tools, shop space, and tools are some of the other reasons, lol.)
That's what I love about your channel , you explain everything so good and make it look easy but I also know what and why and no one ever does that , as if everyone knows what they are doing ! But even the hint at what to do and NOT do at the junk yard ! Awesome info , thanks !
Just so you know those "crush sleeves" are really roll pins, enjoyed the video thanks
Good morning Colt keep'em coming 👍👍
Hey Colt I've watched you for years when you was bleepanjeep I'm so proud of you going out on your own you are growing fast and nobody explains things like you thank you so much you did amazingly good job on your S-10
(*you WERE "BleepinJeep"). Ever heard of periods (full stops)?
I just said he was growing his own channel fast I truly didn't mean anything by that post I'm sorry
I really like this kind of content, man I'd love to have this doubler in my 79!
Very well explained and marketed you do a fine job 😊
I have used an oxy-acetylene torch to burn off heavy deposits of oil, gease, and tar!
Just keep the torch moving! The idea is to burn off the crud without heating up the metal underneath!
Liked and Subbed .. a long time ago! 👍😎✊
Good stuff Colt. Your instructionals are pretty much first class.
I appreciate that!
Nice 👍, those pins you call crush sleeves, I was always told were roll pins
Clean as you go, I used the same process when I cook food. Easier to manage things that way.
Brother, you should get you one of those rolling hydraulic lift carts from Harbor Freight and USE it. Take care of that back, it's the only one you've got. Love what you do, want to see you able to do it for a L O N G time yet.
I had a 74 F-100 4x4 and it had a NP-203 transfer case. I always wanted to put a NP-205 in because you could use factory parts for the change but in 30 years I just never got to it.
Great job as always looking forward to seeing more.
Awesome and outstanding. Thanks for sharing and taking us along
Excellent video, you have a good ratio of talk to show. 😊
