Hi! How long is the mast? This sailboat is supposed to fit inside a 20 foot container once the keel has been removed. See the interior dimensions of a 20 foot container further below. If the mast is longer than 19'4" (20' diagonal corner to corner?), it won't fit inside the container unless one goes for a 40 foot one. Then maybe 2 boats could fit including the two masts. The dimensions of a 20-foot container are: Exterior Dimensions (in feet): 20’ long x 8’ wide x 8’ 6” high Exterior Dimensions (in meters): 6.10m long x 2.44m wide x 2.59m high Interior Dimensions (in feet): 19’ 4” long x 7’ 9” wide x 7’ 10” high Internal Dimensions (in meters): 5.898m long x 2.352m wide x 2.393m high Usable Capacity: 32.6m3 Regards J.-C.
The masts are built with a sleeve just above the spreaders so all you do is unscrew a few machine bolts then pull the two halves apart and longest piece is just over 4 mtrs. :)
Deck stepped mast with a hinging base so easy to set the mast up on the trailer. Keel is fixed but unbolt-able with 10 bolts then the two bulb halves are also removable with three bolts so two guys can manage the keel in pieces. MY trailer for TREKKA will allow the 5.80 to be trailed with the keel on or off, so it is NOT a trailer sailor for day sailing but is trainable. The may be a Non-Class boat with lifting keel developed end of this year.
Very nice sailoat :-).
Is there a twin keels version ?

Why not twin keel for UK
No we would not offer that as performance is better with fin keel and it is a one design class. There may be a lift Keel version late this year :)
Сколько такая стоит и где купить?
Eta yakhta dolzna byt zdielana samostoyatelno .You Tube - Setką przez Atlantyk - tam pokazano kak on eto delayet .
Why bother with the wind vane rudder, trim tab on main rudder is a better an simpler solution
Yes on TREKKA I am using the South Atlantic servo pendulum Windvane who offer a special deal for 5.80 sailors.
First 25.7 better?
