RUST PROOF? My Truck Gets Fluid Film & Rhino Liner

I'm headed to Mount Zion Offroad for two premium services to my 2005 Ram 2500 truck. I plan to have this truck for a very long time and I can't stand to see it rusting. I've also had a new bed put on, and need to protect the inside of that. Having had Rhino Linings on the floor of the Spool Bus for nearly 5 years now, I knew that's what I wanted on the bed. But what about under the truck? Is Fluid Film any good? What even is it? Let's learn about it!

I live in NJ and my 2018 Ram 3500 has zero rust. I apply fluid film every fall and it certainly does its job exceptionally well.

That’s awesome to hear! This truck was from NJ as well 😢 no need for any real rust repair at this point (new bed was from Kansas) but was obviously a good bit starting to crop up. Hopefully annual treatment of this keeps it at bay forever!

i wish i knew about it way before, i froze my ass off washing my truck at the end of the day for many years also in NJ my frame is clean but got body rust

@@DirtRoadTherapy yeah.... I've been holding off on a couple of my vehicles because I had work to do. I did a truck for a guy and two weeks later his rear axle locked up. I had to work through all that goo to replace the axle.
