@@trappedinamerica7740Ben Afleck for the most part owns and does great in every role he’s in. Doomfleck sounds amazing plus he has a naturally more intimidating gait in costume then the other actors. He’s tall, with wide shoulders and a strong jaw so that is perfect casting honestly.
I really for the life of me never understood why anyone liked him as Batman. He’s just not built for these roles.

I'm good with Mads Mikkelsen(completely separate from Kaecilius, who was frankly forgettable and a waste of his talents to begin with), or Cillian Murphy as Doom. I don't really see Affleck as Doom, but would give him a chance. I definitely agree that Doom needs to be around for a long time, in multiple projects, and not just a one off.
Heck, they can always have Mads Mikkelsen show up as Doom in Dr. Strange, who in turns mentions Kaecilius, then Doom replies: Who). I think that would be quite funny.

Chill just because he had a good time? I use to hate Ben especially after some of his politics, but truth is he’s just a normal dude still at heart, like he acts like one of the guys still which is why I think he would be great as Doom. You don’t gotta worry about him on set because he owns every role he takes.
Bruh he looked either like he did a bump or was about to during his "roast", or that empty shot glass in front of him had him that riled up. Just saying he's probably on the ozempies and that's OK but not a super hero. No more dahk knight, can we get some sparedevil?

You know, Doom could be the main villain of Secret Wars AND still appear after that movie. Plus, if they don’t do his story line in Secret Wars, what are we going to build up to for him? That’s his most iconic story
When it comes to Mads Mikkelson, the best way to explain the whole Kaecilius connection, would just be that he was a variant of Dr Doom.
Yeah, or maybe that was just the “Batman begins” style alias he took when he was training in the mystic arts, because he wanted to learn how to rescue his mom from hell, like in the comics. His facial scars could be the ones Kaecilius has around his eyes, and he could just be a bad ass after returning from the dark dimension. It would also go along way to saving time in building the audience relationship with Doom, to use all that already built in character development and backstory from Kaecilius.
Honestly not everything needs to be explained it's fictional and the in the Multiverse it could literally be just someone who looks exactly like the other character. Marvel doesn't exactly need to reference & connect everything. But I get why people would want everything to connect lol

Idk man Daniel rpk is the most reliable source and he said kang is the main villain of both avengers 5 and 6. Literally every insider is saying kang is the villain. The film is still listed as kang dynasty on Disney’s schedule. I mean the source your using in this vid Holyfield also stated that kang is still the main villain and that doom won’t be a villain in avengers 5 and that it will be kang. He even said he’s not sure if the title actually changed or not as he stated Disney still has it listed as Kang dynasty
Pretty sure that was before Jonathan majors had allegations and was fired after he was found guilty. But I don't follow Daniel rpk so I could be wrong on the dates.

Completely agree on not wasting the Dr. Doom character. Take the time to develop him first. I'm not sure on the new deal with Disney though with only releasing 2 -3 movies a year. With so much planned, that would set back a proper development story even more years.
I've been saying that since I first heard they were bringing in Doom: take their time, do it right. I didn't read the comics (was too busy having a life and actually getting laid...haha, I'm TOTALLY kidding!) but I know from my friends what a pivotal, interesting character he is for the franchise. He needs to be handled with reverence. He's one of the few villains on the roster who could actually have his own solo movie and have it gross over a billion! (It'd have to be done right, of course...)
The only way they could power him up as God Emperor Doom was if it was a variant from another universe so we could lose him and be okay with it. But even then, no one would care about him or, for casual fans, maybe even know who he is. Plus any Doom they create in the MCU would forever be overshadowed by the variant they threw away--and pale in comparison. It's just better to leave him out and introduce him the right way!

Secret Wars villain definitely needs to Dr Doom! As for actor, they should be able to carry the proper level of gravitas to do the character justice, but not sure who I would pick.
Beyonder was the main villain in Secret Wars but Doom was a big part of that storyline.., hopefully they’ll do the same and have him as a secondary protagonist. I noticed there’s a Valerian truck from Moon Knight in the background of the new Deadpool & Wolverine trailer..!
I’m surprised nobody has ever fan casted Jason Isaacs as Doom. I feel like he’d be a cool cast. Although I do love the Kaicelius angle of him turning into doom.

I like the idea of Doom for Secret Wars but like you said, only if they delay Secret Wars so they can truly build out the character and explore the full range that character can bring as a villain. Also, Cillian Murphy as Dr Doom? Yes please.

If Cillian Murphy is cast as Doom I think he needs his own film or D+ miniseries to do him justice. I think even though he's a villain he needs to be fleshed out and featured in the MCU like a hero would be.

I love Doctor Doom. He is one of my favorite villains and I have waited a long time to get a good comic accurate version, so I prefer they take their time and do him right.

Marvels should have had a Doom Credit scene. Sure the Young Avengers is something I wanted to direct but it would probably helped teased the movie being a dependent film of the marvel saga.

I'm with you. Stretch this saga out and build up doctor Doom and other incoming characters for a huge finale in secret wars. I think putting a black panther 3 that touches on Doom would be amazing added in before the end of the multiverse saga.
I hope that they wait to use Dr.Doom, that way we can see his whole story play out!
If not Doom or Kang, personally I'd like to see The Spot from ATSV as the big bad for Secret Wars. He would make a pretty unique twist/surprise villain and it would fit perfectly with his established character arc, going from insignificant background character to literal muliveral threat. Secret Wars is already most likely gonna tie in multiple Marvel movie verses, most likely including the Sony spin-off and animated ones in some way (Not to mention we did see the Sony/Venom-verse in AtSV). There have been plans to introduce a live-action Miles Morales in some way, so perhaps that could happen someway through 1610 Miles. Plus what better villain for the "Multiverse" saga than a villain who's quite literally a gateway to the multiverse himself.
Great casting choices Dr Doom Krazy, when this happens please have Silver Sable casting acknowledge both Latveria and Symkaria.

I know less about Kang than Dr. Doom. The idea of Dr. Doom as a main villain is so inticing for me, but since they have already started with Kang, and I like what they did with Kang in Loki so far. I can't tell which one I would be more excited about.

I mean, Mads could be cast as a variant of Caecilius in the F4 universe. We're already used to that kind of stuff, so it wouldn't be confusing to set it up that way. Then when he comes to 616 after the F4 maybe he finds Caecilius and absorbs him and his power, which would explain his power boost.

Best case scenario is either a twin antagonist finale which is yet to really be done or that Kang was the “Loki” and Doom is the “Thanos” so to speak
I feel like they could drop Doom in a few scenes here and there, do a special presentation or maybe even change Kang Dynasty to be a Doom-centric movie, and then have him upgrade to God Emperor Doom at the end of Secret Wars to be the big bad of the next saga.
I like the three actors mentioned, I think any of them could do the job. I also wouldn't mind seeing Christian Bale be given a second chance at a villain role after he was shortchanged with Gorr, and since Doom is almost certainly from another timeline/universe it shouldn't be an issue (just like with Mikkelsen).

Man they can bring him here to the 616 on Reed's life raft at the end of FF film. Doom goes straight to Wakanda (BP3) for vibranium when he arrives. Then DS3 and S-C2 for good Doom build out.
