- Israeli forces on Thursday said they retrieved the bodies of five hostages killed on October 7 from the Gaza Strip, just one day after Binyamin Netanyahu made a fiery speech in Washington DC where he vowed to achieve 'total victory' against Hamas and defended the war in Gaza. But Netanyahu faces anger from the families of remaining hostages, who have called for "an urgent meeting" with the PM upon his return from the US, ABC correspondent Jordana Miller said.

Israel sent medicine to those hostages with chronic illnesses. Red Cross was supposed to oversee the transfer and report. They were silent. The hostages who returned said that they had never received anything and no one from Red Cross contacted them. It was part of the first agreement with Hamas.
