Pixel is the only phone which can achieve iphone level of optimization, because Android is of google and even processor also made by google(50%). But still long way to go....

superb video. totally agree on the pricing part. at 44k, (approx 550 USD)- its not a good deal considering the multiple issues and the ordinary hardware. They should have atleast given 8gb ram, 256 gigs of storage with 90 hz refresh rate. Moto edge 30 pro is a much better alternative to the pixel
Have the Pixel 6 and the 6A now. While the flagship is a better device, I think the 6A has a form factor that is hard to beat. Google not building this phone in India is the reason we have an over[riced proposition.
For those of you now more confused because of this review, consider these options: Pricing a phone under 35K compared to what I got with Axis Flipkart card at 38K (don't buy it if you are having to pay 44K which is where it comes under Premium category), it doesn't seem justified for me that just with 3K of difference, you expect so many things. Of course, there are phones with some mind boggling specs but is it optimized or use all of those resources - NO. On paper, those might look good and "theoretically" justifies the price. Another important thing to consider here is the price you are paying for the Brand Google. I didn't face any issue with Fingerprint sensor even after 3 days now and coming from a 60Hz phone, I don't notice anything or in the need of 90/120Hz but if you are gamer, go for those options. The only thing which was a downer for me was the heating issue but as I said it's from Google, I can reply on it to bring some updates to fix it in the future or make changes to how adaptive power control works with their fine chip Tensor. Same goes for Battery management. ------------------------- So ask yourself, if you need The Brand, camera, non-gaming phone, non-vlogger/reel maker for 4K selfie videos, and getting this below 40K, this is a great option!
Not having 4G+ is the main reason I won't buy this phone! Standard 4G is much more slower and tbh is at true 3G speeds not 4G. Edit: Going for the "Brand" for Pixel 6a will leave you disappointed when you expect support from them the most, only 1 service centre in a country as huge as India is really bad, they don't care about the Indian market and you shouldn't expect things from Google either. When you are going for brand you expect things like good overall experience, service, etc. Now for the camera, Pixel have always been camera phones but just for photography! The video is not good at all, looks so overprocessed and unnatural, just the stabilization is good. For such a phone with no 4G+ in 2022 when we are talking about 5G, only good photos (especially at night!), no official service whatsoever, severe security issues like with the slow fingerprint scanner, etc are not the things you expect when going for a brand at all.
I mean an average Samsung offers the same at that price and even better in most of the cases. Plus even iPhone goes around those price in BBD sale. Don't really see why someone would pick pixel lmao
@@ayzu7670 dude. Most people who bought pixel6a on the launch without waiting for the reviews are fighting their tears rn. I believe nothing phone 1 has better specs. My 2 year old OnePlus Nord has 90 hz display with warp charging. Pixel 6a is a downgrade .
*Guest what??* I received my Pixel 6a yesterday, and I just learned the 6a is *NOT SUPPORTED* by Cricket Wireless (an AT&T company), and the 6a is *NOT SUPPORTED* by Mint Mobile!! I moved my Cricket Wireless SIM chip from a Pixel 4a to the new Pixel 6a, and the 6a BRICKED the SIM instantly, and the chip had to be replaced. The 6a SIM changeover also caused my Cricket account to be suspended for several hours. Google Store is 100% aware of this issue and does not care. Google tried to get me to switch from Cricket to a much higher-priced Google Fi to solve the problem. Google emailed an RMA, and my new 6a is going back tomorrow. *A BIG disappointment.* °

Get the Pixel especially if you've never tried one. August security patch update may be available by the time you receive your Pixel. Then in 3 months you'll have Android 13 before mostly everyone. Don't let those jealous haters misguide you. Good luck!
There are no bad products, only bad prices. Software issues will be solved with time. Google will extract more performance now with the CPU because they will be able to optimize for the CPU a lot considering the CPU is their own. Just look at how many optimizations Google was able to do with the 5 year old Sony Camera sensor and the pictures are so good even today compared to other high megapixel cameras. This is what happens when instead of just giving high performing hardware, companies actually sit & optimize their software and code. I do believe that the price of Rs 44,000 due to tariff in India is very high but this will soon force manufacturers to start making their mid & low end phones in India which is what GoI's intention was with tariffs which in-turn will reduce the price of such phones. It is a long term solution but a good solution because consumption in India is very high and hence companies cannot just ignore India and its price sensitive market.
This phone should be around 300 bucks, not more, but we should blame the "big" companies, that ask even more than 1500 for flagships for all prices going sky high
I''ve just bought the European version, and updated to Android 13 and november-22 security update. I have tested the fingerprint scanner; it is neither slow nor does it accept unregistered fingerprints. 44000 rupees is ca 500 euros . I have bought it for 300 euros (25000 rupees). When you did the Pixel 6 review, you said it was worth it for 66k. Now it is around 42k with discounts. Is it still worth it? Or is 6a better. Do sellers actually honour warranty for Pixel 6?
This fingerprint scanner issue might not be fixable by a software update. The fingerprint sensor is kind of isolated from the rest of the device on purpose, to prevent malware from collecting your fingerprints. Maybe the firmware of the fingerprint scanner can be updated nonetheless, but I doubt it. Maybe that's why Google is not communicating about this issue (as far as I know). They should either fix the issue, or tell people to disable the fingerprint scanner, or offer to refund people.
1:55 Why did Manu Sir trim? 2:55 Wait, how is it that stable? I've checked another channel, maybe Technolobe, I forgot, but there we were told (and 'shown') that stabilization doesn't work at 4k 60 fps!
2:55 - There is that slow walking movement but no jitter or unnecessary shakes. It has that natural walking movement. Most phones don't do any stabilization and the footage looks unusable. Comparatively, this is far more usable. Ofcourse, stabilization will work far better in 4k-30 but it does work.
@@pratikrai6407 I call that "proper" stabilization. Who needs the kind of stabilization that makes running look like walking?🤣 There really isn't much different from the regular Pixel 6. @@Farhan_049 Maybe you don't and it's your perspective. Agreed! Of course, as I said the Pixel 6 is better than the Pixel 6A and if you are fine with the 4G+ and no warranty clause, one should buy a Pixel 6.

Have the Pixel 6 and the 6A now. While the flagship is a better device, I think the 6A has a form factor that is hard to beat. Google not building this phone in India is the reason we have an over[riced proposition.
I agree about the form factor of the 6a as well as its lighter weight. If I could only shrink my Pixel 6..
3:24 we have the waste variant 💯
For those of you now more confused because of this review, consider these options:
Pricing a phone under 35K compared to what I got with Axis Flipkart card at 38K (don't buy it if you are having to pay 44K which is where it comes under Premium category), it doesn't seem justified for me that just with 3K of difference, you expect so many things.
-------------------------
So ask yourself, if you need The Brand, camera, non-gaming phone, non-vlogger/reel maker for 4K selfie videos, and getting this below 40K, this is a great option!

Just switch to High contrast camera profile in iphone 13 settings to get almost similar kind of photos. Pixel is no longer special and unique 🙅♂️

if you are facing issues with FP add it again it's some software glitch faced the issue and adding it again fixed it.
