Ray Liotta died unexpectedly in May of 2022. Now, it is March of 2024, almost two years later, and it still seems hard to believe that Ray Liotta died. That's partly because he had made several films in the months leading up to his death and was in the Dominican Republic so he could make another film.
How this movie didn't win for best picture is beyond me. It's a total masterpiece from beginning to end. It's probably used to teach students in theater classes at USC or UCLA to this day. God, thank you for Martin Scorcese, Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci, Paul Sorvino and Ray Liotta.
As soon as I heard about Ray Liotta's death, I took a breather here. One of the best performances in one of the best gangster films in the history of cinema. RIP RAY LİOTTA
Ray Liotta died on May 26, 2022 at the young age of 67. Here it is almost two years later and I still find it a shock that he died. At the time of his death, he had just completed making a couple of films and was in the Dominican Republic as he was shooting a movie there.
I hereby send my sincere love and deepest condolences to Ray Liotta’s family. You shall be truly missed by many around the world. Rest In Peace, Ray Liotta.
The hardest thing for me was leaving the life. I still love the life. We were treated like movie stars with muscle we had it all just for the asking. Our wives, mothers, kids, everybody rode along. I had paper bags filled with jewelry stashed in the kitchen, I had a sugar bowl full of coke next to the bed.
33 years later, I *just* saw this movie in its entirety for the first time last night. And I have to say, what a show. The old school Mob back in its glory days. A must-see for every Mob movie fan. A true classic.

My aunt is a diehard Goodfellas fan. And since my mom passed away in 2019, I decided to have a tender moment with my aunt at my wedding. It’s gonna be to the piano exit of Layla.
Mustang & Sally It’s hard to say what the best of the 90s was. Remember, within that decade, we also had Pulp Fiction, Fight Club, Casino, The Shawshank Redemption, Schindlers List, Reservoir Dogs, Heat...just to name a few. It’s an impossible task to pick the best.
